While the intake report memorialized allegations that multiple girls were murdered and buried at a Trump golf course, newly released Epstein records suggest federal investigators ultimately viewed the source skeptically. Other FBI summaries released by the Justice Department indicate complainants making similar allegations were “deemed not credible,” and no publicly released records show that authorities excavated any Trump golf course or uncovered evidence supporting the claims.

Guess the rich only ever saw consequences once: France in 1792

What would America's Storming the Bastille moment even look like? Storming the child-rape mansion that is Mar-a-Lago? Who's head would get carried away on a pike? Miller's? Theil's? Musk's?

Guys, hold on. Everyone stop.

Have you seen the Dow?

Uh oh! It's BELOW 50k?

Well then, let's continue talking about Epstein then.

[–] jestho@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago

The DOW is over 40k!!

[–] Briguy@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

Is that the part that fully exonerated him?

[–] saltesc@lemmy.world 7 points 3 hours ago

It's entirely speculation. It also makes no sense to shit in your own backyard, especially if you're rich.

OP, you should be pursuing actual evidence to heresay before dedicating your trust 100% to it, just because it aligns with what you'd like to be true. I know one group of people that do that a lot...

[–] jaykrown@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago

I wasn't able to find anything that confirms "knew and funded" as true. To state the facts which is all we need to know is that Trump called Palm Beach police in 2006 and said “everyone” knew Epstein was abusing young girls. Also Trump said he was never on Epstein's plane which is a proven lie.

There's no need to push beyond what's already proven verifiable facts. Trump is a liar, was on Epstein's plane many times, and was close friends with known pedophile Epstein. That's enough fact to know he's a disgusting lying fuck.

Our federal government is no longer relevant, get rid of all of them. It's rotten to the core.

State governments already duplicate much of what the feds do already, we'll be fine.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

But then we'll get conquered by Russia or China! Just imagine what that would look like. We'd toil our lives away for a handful of oligarchs, get executed in the streets, and be shipped off to death camps. We'd have sham elections with no impact on public policy. Your ability to obtain nice things would depend on an arcane and opaque scoring system run by nefarious unseen overlords. There would be literal slavery.

[–] DeadMartyr@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 hours ago

I used to be big on States' Rights because I thought it made more sense for people to make rules more specific to them but then I realized the only reason politicians push that is to do whack shit like overturn abortion and now some are even arguing we should go back to when women couldn't work. If I was the president and I cut back rules so States could decide I guarantee laws like that would be passed within a week.

The more I read about it the more im glad that the federal government is strong enough to stop States from extorting or attacking each other (like how New York would basically bully New Jersey). I just hate that every election seems to be between morally bankrupt nepo-babies and it's been going on so long that the corruption would literally need a dictator to pull an El Salvador to fix

Death to the Trump family. Death to the oligarchs. Take back the planet from greed.

[–] minorkeys@sh.itjust.works 2 points 5 hours ago

He probably demanded them!

Who’s head would get carried away on a pike? Miller’s? Theil’s? Musk’s?

Why stop at one?

[–] schipelblorp@sh.itjust.works 8 points 7 hours ago

Guillotines are famously not single-use devices.

[–] Notyou@sopuli.xyz 3 points 6 hours ago

Gotta make room for the Sackler family.

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world 67 points 13 hours ago (3 children)

Oh my fucking god, WE KNOW! JUST FUCKING LOCK HIM UP ALREADY.

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 8 points 7 hours ago

Can't lock up god-emperors. Supreme Court's orders.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 14 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

JUST FUCKING LOCK HIM UP ALREADY.

I'm calling 911 as we speak. They're saying that they're sending someone out to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate.

I wish I could give this gold

[–] ironycanal@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 hour ago

You don't understand, we need more detail. We can't stop him until we've learned everything he's done, which we can't do until we know half of everything he's done, which...

We don't need a special button for that

[–] adhdsergio@lemmy.world 39 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Alright, time to bomb Cuba

[–] teyrnon@sh.itjust.works 8 points 12 hours ago (10 children)

What do you think the odds are of that happening, this year or next or whatever?

Keep in mind, this thing in Iran won't end. It might get hot and cold with ceasefires Israel routinely, if not daily, violates.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 9 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

After a successful op in Venezuela, he thought he could boost his rep with another one, and then blew it in Iran.

Now he'll want an easy win to redeem himself, and he'll go all in on Cuba, with troops and everything, figuring it will be a walk in the park since it's right off the coast.

But he'll fuck it up, and kill lots of American troops, and innocent Cubans, and even the American Cubans will get pissed off, and he'll be in an even worse situation than before.

Never underestimate his ability to totally fuck up EVERYTHING.

[–] Gammelfisch@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Initial military success in regard to Venezuela. When the Venezuelan people realize how badly they are getting shafted, they will rebel and take control of their oil again.

[–] bstix@feddit.dk 4 points 11 hours ago

The Iran situation is going to end the same way as Afghanistan. USA will declare job done and just leave, leaving the mess for others to sort out. Oil production will ramp up elsewhere where it's suddenly profitable to extract because of the higher prices which will eventually find a new balance. Israel will kill a lot of people domestically and play the victim.

Underage.... So.. Children!

Not to forget rape.

So child rape parties.

[–] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 8 points 11 hours ago

THANK YOU. I came here to say this. Children can't consent to getting their ears pierced, let alone sex. Sex with a child is ALWAYS rape

[–] EvasiveSpecies@lemmy.world 29 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

My first thought. Not 'sex parties'. CHILD RAPE parties. My goodness, this is making me nauseous. Horrifying.

[–] postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 6 points 12 hours ago (2 children)

Wait until they start saying child rape parties are a matter of National Security.

[–] oopsgodisdeadmybad@lemmy.zip 3 points 5 hours ago

Raping kids to own the libs.

While harassing and terrorizing drag queens for being gRoOmErS, and not shutting up about the liberal Hollywood elite for, well, doing the same thing.

[–] teyrnon@sh.itjust.works 7 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago)

Hollywood is not now nor have they ever been very progressive in our lifetimes. They do support like lgbtq, and some social issues. The rich don't actually care about that, they care about the money, they are just using people on this to get what they want.

They also mostly suck at their jobs. And it's about to get magnitudes worse on every score with this paramount bullshit. 3 studios will control like 75% of movie studios. Sony another several percent.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 19 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

The Epstein files must say even worse things. That's why we are at war with Iran. What a waste all around for everybody and everything.
