Stephen Miller has been dodging my challenges to a fist fight for a solid year. If anyone is a soy beta bitch boy, it’s him.

[–] PhoenixDog@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

I appreciate your enthusiasm but I'd be worried about my skin touching his by any means. I might catch whatever is living on his skin.

[–] bagsy@lemmy.world 19 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

I don't understand why miller doesnt have 1000 slander and libel suits against him right now

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 6 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

he insulates himself much like teflon don, with racists/ conservative hacks that are willing to protect them. a gang leadership always insulate themselves with the lower ranks.

[–] PhoenixDog@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago

You mean Don Jr, who just recently married the daughter of Jeffrey Epstein's banker?

[–] TootTootComingThru@lemmy.world 19 points 23 hours ago (4 children)

Why are all of these conservatives so fucking weird and this obsessed with trans people?

[–] BeMoreCareful@lemmy.world 7 points 13 hours ago

Because if women can become people, then their whole thing starts to sound stupid.

They're not sorting whites and blacks and men and women and poors and wealthy.

They are sorting people out of a pool of "not people." If, all of a sudden, a woman could become a real person...

See it doesn't work. It's the part we keep forgetting.

[–] Duke_Nukem_1990@feddit.org 8 points 17 hours ago

Cause we are their favorite porn category.

Republicans must be scared of Talarico. His message seems to resonate with his base. He's a white christian man, so in other words "Just a great guy!" in their view.

Also, he's not afraid to call out the establishment. The republican base likes that kind of stuff, they've just been misled into believing that "the establishment" means jews and diversity hires instead of corporate-financial oligarchs and their political lackeys.

Talarico has been pretty effective at meeting these people where they're at and redirecting their ire towards the oligarchy where it belongs.

That must terrify republican politicians.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 12 points 22 hours ago

If he can't win, I don't see how anyone could. Like Paxton is so blatantly corrupt that it's laughable he was even allowed to run in the primary.

[–] muusemuuse@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago (8 children)

Keep that going, please?

Take Texas. Then take Florida. Then take Ohio. (That last once can either flip or secede, I don’t care).

eventhough currently , jewish people are currently in control of the GOP/us government, BIBI is currently tyring to buy the favor of evangelicals, because they dont wan to be the next target of the neonazis.

[–] wonderingwanderer@sopuli.xyz 5 points 8 hours ago

Once again reminding everyone that "Israelis" and "Jews" are not the same thing.

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Republicans get to throw the most vile, puerile insults at anyone. Meanwhile, that girl will have to resign, relocate, and probably change her name.

They are going to harp on Trans-everything this year, which affects almost nobody, because it's all they've got. They've got nothing successful to point to, or even something that has the potential to be successful. They can't criticize Dems, because they're right about EVERYTHING, and they don't want to point it out.

If you hear a MAGA going on about Trans stuff, ask them how many trans people they know,.or have ever known. When they tell you none, tell them to worry about stuff that's real, like their empty fridge.

[–] BillCheddar@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

At the local level, we have a guy who runs for the school board every goddamn election. All he cares about it trans kids. It's all he talks about.

Last meeting, I stood up and asked him "Why do you spend so much time thinking about little kids' dicks?" and that man didn't say another fucking word the next 45 minutes. Really looking forward to the next school board meeting lmao. Gonna keep asking him why he's so obsessed with children's dicks until he stops talking about it or tries to fight me.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmings.world 8 points 23 hours ago

That's what you have to do, keep shaming them, turning it on them, put them on the defense, chase them out. MAGAs and Anti-Vaxxers are the last two groups for which bullying is not only allowed, but strongly encouraged. Mock them, abuse them, shun them, fire them, call them names, laugh at them, cheat them, ignore them, discriminate against them, waste their time, etc.

Not just dicks, ask him why he is so fixated on all children's genitals. Clearly you think about children's genitals a lot, do you have an issue with that? Have you talked to a therapist about that? Have you ever had trouble with the police regarding children? Do you have children yourself? What would CPS say if we asked them about you?

Someone make an edit of Lois doing the 9-11 thing when she was running for office but make it trans-gender (I'm at work)

These days i sometimes get sad from the things happening in the world. Those moments i try and remind myself that despite all those things happening, at least my country isn't run by US politicians.

[–] Prior_Industry@lemmy.world 26 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I'm a brit and we have around 3 years to point and laugh at the US until we get our own Poundland version.

Germany and France also appear a bit shakey on this front 🤦

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

When this started about ten years ago or whatever, you guys were about 5 years behind.

Taking your 3-year at face value it makes sense because this shit accelerated very damn quickly.

[–] Prior_Industry@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Fair chance we would vote them in now if there was an election, although Elmo Musk is currently funding a even more far right party which might split the vote 🤣.

The three years is just the timeframe before an election has to be held.

Stephen is just resentful because he has the appeal of an infected hangnail.

Bigotry is pretty much the only strategy the GOP has left. One state over, they are hammering the airwaves with ads claiming Hallie Shoffner, the Democrat running against Tom Cotton, is a major supporter of the "tRaNs AgEnDa". It's pathetic. It reeks of desparation. I think, for the first time in years, the Democrats might actually have a viable candidate. I think Tom Cotton thinks so too. I hope Hallie Shoffner stomps that little fucking weasel into the dirt.

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 48 points 2 days ago (3 children)

I don't get it. Is this person not transgender or something?

[–] thatKamGuy@sh.itjust.works 72 points 1 day ago (2 children)

No, he’s a cisgender heterosexual male - but he just so happens to have progressive political views, and that absolutely frightens the right-wing nutjobs.

[–] krashmo@lemmy.world 58 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

He's also specifically running as a Christian who opposes Christian Nationalism which is the most terrifying thing about him to the GOP. They know full well that being able to use the Christian label is the only thing they need for low information voters to vote for them, especially in the South. If they lose the stranglehold they have on that label they are well and truly fucked.

He's not.

He's also not vegan, but that's another accusation his opposition is using. Because I guess there's nothing Texans hate more than (checks notes) ... tofu?

hes not, thats why they call him a vegan, as a deragatory name, eventhough isnt that either.
