What else should we expect? πŸ˜‚

[–] Furbag@pawb.social 12 points 1 hour ago

At this point, why would Iran give up any nuclear ambitions on a promise from the United States? Our promises are clearly not worth the ink they are written in.

[–] BioDriver@lemmy.world 1 points 30 minutes ago

No, it’s actually worse than Obama’s deal and yields a lot of concessions and leverage to Iran

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.cafe 7 points 1 hour ago

Oh, don't worry, it won't be anywhere near as good as Obama's deal.

Funny how that suicide note just happens to surface right along with β€œoperation Epst-ic fury is winding down”.

[–] mrdown@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 hours ago

Fuck anybody who participated in this war of sggression rhey are not service man they are terrorists.

The point was to put a puppet instead of the regime so the usa get more control on the cheap oil and gaz

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 39 points 8 hours ago (2 children)

He is not getting anything close to Obama's deal. Also we get to keep the high gas prices.

[–] bampop@lemmy.world 15 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

The end result is to suck more money out of the pockets of ordinary people, into the hoards of the wealthy. That is the point of it all.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.cafe 2 points 2 hours ago

When it's not working, its working.

[–] DandomRude@piefed.social 49 points 10 hours ago (9 children)

What about the war crimes and the thousands of Iranians the U.S. is murdering? What about the more than a hundred schoolchildren who were torn to pieces by bombs during a direct U.S. attack on a school? Of course, those aren’t worth mentioning to this guy - only the U.S. "service members" and gas prices matter.

All too typical. This country makes me sick...

[–] then_three_more@lemmy.world 23 points 8 hours ago (2 children)

What about the Roughly 45 million more people could be pushed into acute hunger this year if conflict persists

The impact of this is so much more wide spread than just US Gas prices and the atrocities being committed by the USA and Israel.

[–] AdolfSchmitler@lemmy.world 5 points 57 minutes ago

It is, but unfortunately a vast majority of Americans don't seem to care unless it affects them directly (at the pump).

And 1/3 will believe any lie told to them.

Honestly having a hard time coping rn

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.cafe -5 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

It's all Biden's fault. He did it too, you know, why don't you complain about that?

[–] then_three_more@lemmy.world 1 points 49 minutes ago (1 children)

Maybe because he wasn't on the news every fucking day hearing about some bsllshit half baked cunning plan on how to fuck over everyone who doesn't have an American Eagle tattoo so I don't know what he did or didn't do to fuck up the world.

[–] Soulg@ani.social 1 points 38 minutes ago (1 children)

I mean, he was pretty bad, but none of this is his fault. Just in case you aren't kidding

[–] then_three_more@lemmy.world 1 points 19 minutes ago

Honestly, no idea. Our news didn't keep track of minute by minute what he was up to like it seems to with the Orange Murder Monkey you guys keep electing. He might have done something crazy for all I know, and just not tweeted about it at 4 am in a dementia fueled rant.

It't not even close to Obamas deal. So far it is just a big fuckup, as usual with Trump.

[–] Bubbaonthebeach@lemmy.ca 66 points 12 hours ago (4 children)

It won't even be as good of a deal, just any deal. But the important part is that it will be Trump's deal. That's all he cares about. That his name is on it.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.cafe 1 points 2 hours ago

And it will be the greatest deal in the history of the world.

[–] chunkystyles@sopuli.xyz 20 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

But more importantly, it doesn't have Obama's name on it.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 10 points 9 hours ago

That part is more important to other Republicans. To Trump it's all about the Trump.

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 6 points 10 hours ago

Right on the fucking money.

He hasn't actually managed to secure that deal yet. He might easily get something worse.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

It’s already going to be a worse deal because it gave Iran the defacto option to mine/close the Strait of Hormuz anytime it wants more cash.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.cafe 4 points 2 hours ago

Oh yeah, it's already going to be a worse deal, the Obama deal was great, kind of crazy they got it, actually.

It's just a matter of how BAD the Trump deal will be.

[–] Vorticity@lemmy.world 28 points 13 hours ago* (last edited 13 hours ago)

Agreed. Why would Iran trust him to stick to a deal like we had before? That deal required having a lot of trust in the US government to abide by our deals.

Yeah, but at least we aren't talking about the Trump/Epstein files anymore.

[–] kablez@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago

At this point the rest of the world will be invading America just to find out what the fuck is in them already.

Did Trump eat a child's heart Aztec human sacrifice style? What does Putin have on him exactly?

I'm sure I speak for many people when I say I am so tired of my cost of living going up for the Epstein class.

*worse. Worse than Obama's deal.

[–] someguy3@lemmy.world 19 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (1 children)

I'm still laughing that I was banned from a community for saying Harris wouldn't have invaded Iran.

[–] lobut@lemmy.ca 4 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Vaush gets visibly upset when it's brought up on his stream that Harris wouldn't have.

[–] someguy3@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

Hadn't heard of him so watching a clip now, what dumbness.

[–] fox2263@lemmy.world 3 points 8 hours ago

Yes but now it has Trumps name on it

[–] auzy1@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Yep. But now everyone is buying EVs.

So, in some ways, it is better long term

[–] AA5B@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

Everyone_else_ is. In the us we still have little choice at ridiculous prices. I have a Nazi mobile but not everyone can afford one
