Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

There is no viable reforestation plan. You can't replace old growth or the species lost by the initial act. We already live in a ghost world. Biodiversity collapse has been happening. The new age is already dawning. The only question is if humanity will adapt.
And how would this adaptation happen?
sanctus pretty much hit the nail on the head. humans are very adaptable. we just have to choose what we're willing to adapt to.
With humans it would be a societal or behavioral over genetic. Pretty easy to imagine. As to what would be the catalyst, probably mass migration, starvation, and suffering during the impending climate crisis.
Fun fact: network based systems are better and faster at adapting to change than hierarchical ones. The only reason why nordic monarchies evolved into what we have today is because europe had a stable climate at the time.
A Federated Society 🙂↕️
Too bad, a majority of the world will rage against such ideas.
Humans cooperate naturally when it is in their best interest. When natural disasters happen people work together to provide each other with food and shelter. The Desktop Regulatory State
Shout out to a cool game I played on itch recently called Sunset Shift
It's a driving simulator about a group of nepo babies that gut a beautiful island of its natural resources like a disposable sponge, then move onto the next one. Gameplay is a little clunky, but great storyline overall.
The People spent a colossal amount of their personal time and energy to defeat the vote. Greay job everyone.
Except,
The lobbyists will always be back tomorrow, to try again.
I mean I opt for less humans in the world eventually. Everyone has a better life then, more to go around.
If we outlaw billionaires, automate a large portion of work, reduce down the populations over time naturally (from education etc), youd have a utopia.
Yeah it wouldnt work because some asshole human would fuck it up to be the all powerful shit head.
Sure, but it must not be done by force, law etc. It should be done by more education, more resources being shared etc. Birth rates tend to go down with people being more equal, educated and having more access to resources and community.
Else those of us who live on this planet, human or not, are no better than those in power currently.
Agreed! Thats why i said education etc. Not "forced" low populations.
