Yeah holy shit, I listened to an interview with him with a legitimate news outlet and he seemed shockingly reasonable. Then i watched some clips of what he said at republican events and it was the usual awful shit.

Plus he regularly abuses stimulants and appears to be in the middle stages of Alzheimer's: even if he lives another 10 years I doubt he'll be in office long before he gets sectional 5'd by Vance.
I've read enough of Vance to be terrified of him. Apparently a lot of Vance's stuff comes from Curtis Yarvin, they certainly sound the same. But Yarvin has no reason to muzzle himself at all and it's just the weirdest shit ever.

From an outsider's perspective, it seems to me that the US got here by not being equally as petty. Lie, cheat, defame, appeal to tribalism, argue in bad faith. Populism is the meta and democrats need to get with it, cuz the whole world is on the line.
