As someone who has personally benefitted from actions of Chip Roy, I couldn't agree more. My anecdotes will never outweigh the damage he's done to countless people.
Also, just cuz an asshole accidentally helps you doesn't make them not an asshole.

The legislation seeks to amend existing immigration law to bar entry and naturalization, as well as create new grounds for deportation for anyone linked to what it describes as “totalitarian” parties, both foreign and domestic.
Trumpism is pretty "totalitarian". I wouldn't be that upset if all the magas got removed from power, and the irony of their own law being used to do it would be delicious.
That humor aside, this is a terrible idea that should be grounds for Roy's immediate removal from office.

He was voted in too, are they going to deport every voter who voted for him? That's a lot of white people.
To him, that's the wrong kind of white people, and they don't belong in the USA, though they might be tolerated in an impotent quantity.
Maybe they could reach some kind of compromise where progressive white votes were counted as, say, three-fifths of a vote.
I'd argue the opposite. No doubt people like Chip Roy would favor a slow and painful demise for anyone he views as a race traitor.
