I’m always watching Star Trek.

My comfort rewatches are
- Supernatural
- ER
- Scrubs
- Battlestar Galactica
- Doctor Who
- Star Trek (TNG, DS9, Voyager)
- Avatar the last airbender
- Roseanne
The Good Place.
I’m normally more of a Star Trek and space opera fan, but there is something about this show that makes me happy.
Bob's Burgers
Stargate SG-1. I'm currently on the ~10th rewatch, up to mid season 2
Good shit
Band of Brothers
The Lord of the Rings
Futurama
And also Die Känguru Chroniken audiobook.
I looooove Band of Brothers. I also really loved Masters of the Air, covid rewrites fucked up the last few episodes but the first few are so amazing I'm ok with that
Futurama keeps getting longer, the more you watch it.
Murder She Wrote
Midsomer Murders
The Golden Girls
Murder she wrote is way longer than I thought
Also every actor ever is in it
Parks and Rec
30 Rock
Bojack Horseman
Always Sunny
Community
And in movies
MCU movies
Alien series
Resident Evil series
Mission Impossible series
Upvote for Parks and Rec. I think I've watched the series at least twice, and my favourite episodes many more times.
I’m probably gonna get cooked for my comfort shows but:
- family guy
- american dad
- community
- seinfeld
- 30 rock
I loved family guy! But then it got weird and lost the cosiness. Still like to watch the old seasons though
Be not afraid. These are worthy.
In no particular order of repeat viewing:
Scrubs
Frasier
Red Dwarf
Fringe
The Expanse
Only Fools and Horses
Still Game
Community
Was kind of surprised how long my list ended up.
Burn Notice
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Schitt's Creek
Star Trek (TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Lower Decks, could see Strange New Worlds in the rotation in the future)
The Good Place
Community
The Expanse
Firefly
Parks and Rec
Ted Lasso
Oh man, I’m the complete opposite of this, I rarely repeat watch anything.
I will rewatch a season prior right before another season of a show comes out, which only happens if it takes a couple years to come out. That’s about it for repeats. I tried repeating The Office once but kinda lost interest two thirds through, didn’t finish. I just prefer fresh stories
- Midsomer Murders
- Brokenwood Mysteries
- Death in Paradise
- Criminal Minds (the first 6 seasons)
- Bones (minus the last few seasons)
Didnt know my grandmother had a lemmy account, she likes legitimately every single one of those and has full box sets, only thing missing is Vera & Heartbeat.
lmaooo hello grandchild 👵
Your grandmother has great taste, which means now I must check out Vera and Heartbeat as well.
- Altered Carbon (Season 1 only)
- American Horror Story (Season 3)
- Firefly
- Fringe (...not season 5)
- Please Like Me
- Star Trek: Voyager
- Vicious
I can already feel that Heated Rivalry will make it on there.
Mr. Robot

True Detective season 1. I've seen it so many times.
True Detective (except season 2)
The Expanse
What We Do in the Shadows
Downton Abbey
Ted Lasso
The Wire
HIMYM
This is the perfect place for my dilemma. I don't want all my comfort shows to be old. I want to find some new shows, I open to anything that is funny or sci, with first seasons after 2015. Mine are getting pretty stale. The current list is:
- IASIP
- Parks and Rec
- The Good Place
- The Venture Bros
- Brooklyn Nine-nine
- 30 Rock
- Stargate
- Expanse
- Firefly
- ~~Rick and Morty~~ (Formerly)
I recommend Abbot elementary based on your list
And Community
always sunny in philedelphia, portlandia
New comfort shows to try:
- Midnight Diner
- The Repair Shop
- All Saints Street
- The Invisible Man and His Soon to Be Wife
- How To with John Wilson
- Apocalypse Hotel
- Somebody Somewhere
- Hilda
- Over the Garden Wall (during autumn for maximum effectiveness)
- Mushi-shi
Desperate Housewives, just got it as the complete DVD set so I can watch whenever without paying to any greedy streaming service that could delete it while I was watching. Damn Susan is such a bimbo. And I'm still wondering where Bongo disappeared?
I restart the comfort seasons before even finishing the show.
Scrubs
So many. But doing Stargate SG 1 again right now. Only 4 seasons left not counting Atlantis.
Not a show. Maybe few movies i have saved on my mobile i rewatch regularly and mostly audiobooks from Warhammer 40k universe that are constantly replaying. Pretty much 50:50 spread between music and Warhammer audiobooks playing in my earphones every time I'm out of the house.
Saved movies: 300, Mad max Fury road and Furiosa, Fight club and of course whole Warhammer TV library.
From audiobooks: i have almost 150gb fort of audiobooks from Warhammer 40k universe. Just finished Horus heresy and Solar war for third and second time. Currently going through Ciaphas Cain series third time.
That moment when your comfort show is one piece 💀 (Our comfort does is one piece and have watched it 7 times more we think)
Samurai Jack
I just tune into the forever marathon on Adult Swim wherever it's at.
