This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
All posts should follow this basic structure:
Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.
Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.

Jokes aside, the last thing I did in that community was say "mods, remove this slop please", in the comments under an AI generated meme, posted by a mod. I thought that was funny, but it might have been why the mod decided to ban Me. But the mod didn't see any reason to put that in the modlog, which is where reasons to ban people go.
you were probably banned for being a prat. you not only complained about the post, but deleted it from your instance. so why are you here bitching about being banned?
you also went through the effort of complaining on multiple posts, so that certainly isn't going to ingratiate you with the mods or admins.

I looked through the first few pages. The most recent comments were on this post, but past that there were comments on other posts, and not about whether those posts were AI slop.

deleted threads are only deleted for regular users. admins can see and interact with all deleted threads and comments, including those from other instances. as you can see from their modlog, they did in fact delete it from their instance.

deceptichum is the sole mod for that instance. also, you called slop on a meme that was indeed using AI generated images, but so are a ton of other comments in that thread. so its strange that your comment was the only one removed and you banned.

they're an admin. they deleted the post in question on their instance, and that's probably why they were banned.
Why does that merit a ban?
they're complaining on every post and deleting the ones they don't like, and you're questioning why that merits a ban. not only that, but they then came to YPTB and lied about being banned for nothing. and you claim to not see the very plainly public constant negative posts they make in that comm, which are clearly listed on their profile. not really sure why you're pulling a Trump fake news over this, but I'm not really interested in finding out. The only people that see the deletion are the users on their instance, right? It looks like that's mostly just them. I don't see how this affects anyone else at all.

There's no rhyme or reason to some of them. I get banned from some subs if I comment too much on the bad spelling or downvote bad spelling.
