You're right. They should have more quickly acted at every level of government.
Civilians holds the rifle = banned assault weapon

Also the civilian population is being disarmed while many more law enforcement that former didn't carry guns are being armed.
Wasn't it a Toronto PD officer that shot into a driver's engine 14 times while other officers ducked for cover, only stopping to change mags?
