This man chilling in Miami. Lmao. Worst part about Miami, for a trucker, ain't nothing but oranges come out of south florida

[–] venusaur@lemmy.world 40 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

Somebody put signs all over Miami with his face and some clever line about him being in Miami dodging the military

[–] Jimbel@lemmy.world 6 points 2 hours ago

That would be awesome.

Do the same with trumps family.

Surprise! Surprise! The elite class who start wars and sent ordinary people to their deaths at the battlefront are draft dodgers!

I dream of a world where whenever these 'leaders' and rulers declare a war, ordinary people on both sides drag them out of their castles, tie them up and throw them in an arena along with sticks, stones, knives and maces. The people can take positions along the gallery of the arena and cheer their leaders on, as the latter fight each other to their deaths. And if they refuse to do so, we can send along some wild lions and elephants for motivation.

Creedence called it almost 60 years ago, in the best anti-war song ever and a few decades later, SoaD asked "why do they always send the poor" in one of the best ones of this millennium

And whoever the winners are, get fed to the lions.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

Guillotines are far cheaper. There's a reason they're a fan favorite.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 13 minutes ago

Ropes are cheaper yet and work just fine. And they don't deserve better than the short drop.

[–] intrepid@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

They're are quick and messy. And someone has to do it. This is way more entertaining and the problem takes care of itself.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

This isn't and shouldn't be about entertainment. This should be about equality and fear.

That and you bet your ass, if someone rolls one in, there will be a crowd with waaaaaay too many people willing to pull the cord.

People are currently not eating. People are being bombed. People are freezing to death.

It's not enough

You're dead serious. I'm joking. It's not that I take the situation lightly, but it's a blessing to behave so lightly in such a situation.

That and you bet your ass, if someone rolls one in, there will be a crowd with waaaaaay too many people willing to pull the cord.

No need for bets. I'm sure that's what will happen. The elites know it too and they're building secret bunkers to escape it. Currently they are stretching the divide and rule tactic as far as it can, by getting the ordinary men and women to fight each other. But they know that it won't work forever.

However, I must warn you. The results won't be as clean and just as you imagine it to be. Angry people yearn for vengeance, not justice. It won't stop until a lot of innocent blood is also spilt. That's what happened in the French Revolution too.

People are currently not eating. People are being bombed. People are freezing to death. It's not enough

The same people won't seek other solutions until a tragedy is inevitable. Whenever I speak a solution that can recover our economy before it goes south, the same ordinary people scoff at me saying it's wishful thinking, ignoring the fact that it has been implemented successfully several times in the past as a measure of resistance.

[–] voidsignal@lemmy.world 5 points 3 hours ago

sounds like a plan

[–] StarryPhoenix97@lemmy.world 107 points 5 hours ago (3 children)

So his fucking son gets to live here while ours go over seas to die for his country!? I hope he shuffles off violently.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 14 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

Lmfao what other option did you think there was?

It's us vs rich. End of story

[–] ImgurRefugee114@reddthat.com 4 points 1 hour ago

Plot twist: there's an american draft and he gets sent anyways.

[–] RVGamer06@sh.itjust.works 7 points 3 hours ago

Why does he lowkey look like spez?

[–] Alcoholicorn@mander.xyz 36 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

Wtf is with rightwingers fleeing the law and Miami?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 10 minutes ago

Easy availabilty of cocaine and hookers. Also plenty of fascists to hang out with while cultivating your melanoma.

You don't hear about South American dictators fleeing to Alabama.

[–] errer@lemmy.world 9 points 2 hours ago

I mean…Florida is Florida but…Alabama is Alabama

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 hours ago (2 children)

I'm drunk as shit right now, but come on. You do hear about it occasionally, but South America isn't a country. And it's definitely not the same area as Alabama. What is this comment trying to convey?

[–] Alcoholicorn@mander.xyz 3 points 1 hour ago

There's too many dictators from South/Central America whom fled to Miami to list each country individually.

[–] intrepid@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

That you're as drunk as a skunk.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 hour ago

Prolly. I'll check back tomorrow when I can read.

[–] sen@lemmy.zip 8 points 3 hours ago

Good. I genuinely hope the absolute worst happens to him.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 18 points 4 hours ago

Phew! I'm GLAD we can Let HIM live in Luxury while us AMERICANS Die for his Dad's War!

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

I’d suggest it’d be hilarious if an alligator ate bum, but really, that indigestion would be no joke… and the aftertaste is animal abuse!

[–] TheLastOfHisName@piefed.social 13 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

And Barron Trump has been barred from military service.

[–] intrepid@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 hours ago

Barred? Another bone spur?

[–] Patrikvo@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 hours ago

Seeing who father is, I wouldn't even trust him near anything sharp.

[–] otter@lemmy.ca 10 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

This website/source is questionable. I looked at the science section, and it feels like grocery store checkout aisle tabloid content.

There are probably better sources about this story

[–] Vanth@reddthat.com 23 points 5 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago) (1 children)

Someone asked in another community what comes to mind when someone is a "chud"...

https://lemmy.world/post/43866445

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Logic police here. It's supposed to be phrases or sentences uttered by the chud.

[–] Vanth@reddthat.com 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Pedantic Esquire points out the prompt didn't say the chud themselves has to be the one uttering the phrase. A phrase stated by someone else about the chud still reveals the subject's chud-ness.

[–] jim_v@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

A phrase uttered by someone else is enough to "instantly reveal" a third party is a Chud? You are easily persuaded.

[–] Vanth@reddthat.com 6 points 3 hours ago

You're putting words in my mouth. I didn't say "instant" and I didn't state the general definitiveness off a single comment you are trying to box me in with. "What's a chud?" "This guy is an example of a chud". It's no deeper than that.

We're not on reddit here, we don't have to turn this into a place that wallows down conversations with that sort of crap.

[–] AbsolutelyNotAVelociraptor@piefed.social 4 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

It would be a pity if a random mass-shooting happened where he is, and it weren't mass but single-target shooting, and it weren't random but targetted and there weren't any other people around.

[–] yakko@feddit.uk 3 points 2 hours ago

No, it wouldn't

[–] magnetosphere@fedia.io 9 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

Shitty little coward. If they ever meet, he and Trump will have something to talk about.

[–] bonenode@piefed.social 5 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

Like what? Their favourite fast food brand top 10? Do you really think the most prominent draft dodger cares about this guy evading military service?

[–] Reiterate9120@lemmy.org 1 points 48 minutes ago

They could talk about their love of raping kids maybe

[–] magnetosphere@fedia.io 3 points 3 hours ago

That was part of the joke, yes.

[–] Vanth@reddthat.com 1 points 3 hours ago
