America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.
America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Just closed my account and I'm now trying mistral.
I've been with mistral for about six months now but it's pretty... Underwhelming.
My client has me use Gemini and ChatGPT's paid tier and they run circles around Mistral for my use case (which is not very complex to begin with). Still, I'd rather support a European company.
Just like discord, do they think we're stupid? Who here is going to say, "Oh, they changed the wording? They pushed the dates back? Well nevermind, I'll reinstall!"
I deleted my discord and i am not going back.
I wish I could I have a community on there that is not going to move, at least not easily.
I had stopped using most communities. Stoat doesn't have as many, neither does Matrix.
I just signed up to Sk.community on Matrix, I am just waiting at the pearly gates I guess? I went looking for a local server before finding out there were not many active ones in Canada. Stoat is not ready for my iOS devices yet.

The US government's standard operating principle at this point is "Ooh! Look, shiny! let's buy this database. Oh whoops, how'd this personal information on a wide swath of Americans get in our cart? I don't feel like putting it back on the shelf." So these assurances are meaningless.
Meaning it shall be unintentionally used...
That feeling the rest of the world gets when Americans applaud someone for preventing "domestic" mass surveillance.
I used ChatGPT for some more complex web searches that I did not want to be jumping from place to place to get answers from. As well as a random word and number generator for my email generator. I have let most of my Apple services go, just one left, but that meant I needed a new hide my email service, I was signed up for proton but found out that it would be less expensive to just get the email package from my new web host but needed the random word and number generator.
Claude is more than capable of doing that all for me.
Instead of just closing the account, I also closed the email address I had for it. If they want to try and get me back straight to the 404 pile there emails will go.
