Are the ICE SS/NKVD thugs going to arrest the voters before they enter building. Johnson, the Christian Fascist, can f-himself and St. Peter will close the gate on his worthless racist ass.
Ask for papers, create delays and require all votes be submitted before the polls close to prevent people from casting ballots in key districts. Not sure if I like this game of guessing what form evil will come in.

Thats why they are so obsessed with fraud, because, as they've done for 50 years, Republicans always point the finger at the democrats for everything that the republicans themselves do, want to do, or will do.
You are so 100% correct. They have never been this close to total power, and they know that not only will they not come back from another failure, the consequences are likely to be EXTREMELY bad. The American people will not accept anything less than serious punishment for MAGAs CRIMES.
So like you said, they are literally fighting for their lives. I'll add to that, that they are socio/psychopaths with all manner of extreme mental presentations, and are capable of going beyond anything in our worst imaginations. They not only will employ serious violence, they WANT to.
This next election will tell the tale. I find it impossible to believe that there is any chance that they will allow this election to proceed unmolested, and if the majority of either chambers flips, they will contest it with all sorts of simultaneous strategies that they are already discussing.
MAGA currently only has a one vote lead in the House. If a couple more quit immediately, which might be possible if they keep committing heinous atrocities, the House may flip BEFORE the election.
Dems should be using whatever influence they have with corporate America to hire some suffering Congressional Republican who hates what's happening. I'll bet there's a bunch. Woo a few away with good salaries and benefits, and MAGAs election fraud will be for naught.

last time we had presidential corruption, it was pardoned "to help the country heal".

They're already talking about stationing their ~~gestapo~~ ~~ICE~~ Gestapo at voting locations across the country, They are actively, and openly, discussing their plans to openly interfere in the election. The only question is if its gonna be via violence and disappearance before people can get in the door to vote, or if its gonna be absconding with the ballots after voting, but before counting.
That's what the 2nd Amendment is for: people will need to form militias in their communities to protect voters from interference by ICE.

You don't magically get to remain an elected official after your term is up if you don't win an election.
I mean, if you have an armed force, loyal to you, who have already been given their funding up front until after the next election, it wouldn't really be magic.

But it will end in 2029 since Trump isn’t allowed to have a third term, so someone else will have to run and based off the flip flopping, the winner will probably be a democrat.

USA people, if you don’t manage to get out of this jam, it’s been real. One last chance guys, don’t mess it up.
Midterms are more than half a year away and they already start normalizing the narrative of the next 'big steal'. Until November they will have convinced their base that a democrat win would solely be based of the Reps not being allowed to cheat the election (which is somewhat true but you know how they'll mean it).
Good luck hoping for the outcome to be an non-violent end of Trumps presidency.

Hitler didn't have nukes and the most powerful military in the world, so I can't blame them for being reluctant. Plus, most other countries have their own surge of far-right parties to deal with.

Why does it seem like everyone forgot that he already tried to rig the elections on Jan 6? Democracy officially died on January 20, 2025, and we were screaming from the rooftops that it was going to die if Trump were reelected. But Trump is just a symptom of a larger issue.
The real rot in our system has been here since the founding of the country. The founding fathers chose capitalism as the form of economics, and what they didn't realize (or maybe did) was that they were just replacing one king with another. They explicitly allowed people who seek power to continue to be allowed to have power over others. Regardless of how much it is or isn't regulated, it will always lead back to the same road. Call it monarchy, oligarchy, fascism, dictatorship, authoritarianism, or whatever else you want, but this is the road that we travel down whenever we allow rulers in society.
The only way to fix this forever is to not allow rulers in society. Anything short of that will lead us right back here.
