Jeff Amazon? Questionable motives? Nooooooo it couldn’t be!

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 9 points 13 hours ago

I think it's motives are pretty fucking clear. Those critics are either being very careful or complete morons.

If they want Prime cancellations en masse they are getting them. At least in Europe.

I hope Americans join us.

[–] uberdroog@lemmy.world 27 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Already done. Don't forget ebay, PayPal and twitch.

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 15 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

I already boycot ebay and paypal, but are they tied to Amazon? Venmo is also a paypal company.

[–] A_norny_mousse@feddit.org 11 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

ebay

Pretty sure there's some good reason to boycott them, but they're not Amazon.

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 5 points 15 hours ago

Guessing they're mentioning popular American companies

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 3 points 13 hours ago

As an American, I can’t boycott them any harder.

I can't wait for it to not get any Oscar Nominations, and have Trump go ape shit like he does about the Nobel Pace Prize.

But it's for Melania, so maybe he won't care. More likely he'll demand an Oscar for both of them. Or maybe he'll just steal hers. None of those would surprise me.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 1 points 9 hours ago

He knows the leaders of the United States have their thumb on the scales! They shoulda given the award to ~~me~~ melania! Now he's going to have to invade the country that hosts the Oscars....

Shame really. Gif

9/11 has critics questioning Bin Laden's motives

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 27 points 20 hours ago

No one questions Jeff's motives. We all know what his motives are.

[–] TomMasz@lemmy.world 19 points 20 hours ago

You guys have questions?

[–] Lexam@lemmy.world 13 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

How could you question Amazon's motives!?

[–] Chais@sh.itjust.works 5 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

Right‽ Has Amazon and Jeff Bezos ever shown even a hint of ulterior motivation? Unbelievable!

^(^(I really hope I'm laying the sarcasm on thick enough for everyone to notice…))

[–] FishFace@piefed.social 8 points 18 hours ago

It's not really a question, is it

[–] Proprietary_Blend@lemmy.world 10 points 20 hours ago

Yeah. That's the job description
