Mine was blue until mid-2010's.

Not completely sure why, but it's now purple as well. It's such a pleasing colour.

Prior to that, I have fond memories of painting all my cars in Saints Row 2 purple and white.

and there's so many DIFFERENT purples! Lavender, fuchsia!

[–] FlashZordon@lemmy.world 11 points 2 years ago

Orange. I like the warmth of it.

[–] Zedi0us@lemmy.world 10 points 2 years ago

Green, so many shades and hues. The colour of forests, grass hills, antifreeze... Calming, vibrant, sweet.

Blue. I think it's objectively the best, most beautiful color. Not sure what more I can say...

[–] P1nkman@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

Pink, because it's a beautiful colour, and the fact that it triggers "manly men" 🤘 I'm male, btw. Today I have pink socks with cats on them 🐱

[–] jockets@feddit.org 8 points 2 years ago

Green, it's the color of nature.

[–] FireTower@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

Teal, it has the best qualities of both blue and green

[–] muntedcrocodile@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago

Green its the essence of life

I can't imagine a lot of folks are going to agree with me on this, but a nice warm brown is so cozy. Think like the color of Hershey's chocolate (actually, maybe think of a better chocolate).

It's the color of chocolate, coffee, big cozy leather armchairs in old oak libraries, a nice well seared steak... What's not to like?

[–] Tja@programming.dev 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

None of those things are liked because of their color, tho ;)

[–] Thebular@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Fair enough, but it's a decent reason to like the color I think :)

Teal and turquoise, I think because it evokes imagery of my very early childhood where I'd be on vacation and swimming in seas that looked like shimmering gems, with water so clear that it looks as though you're flying. Fun little fact, I've never had to be trained on how to swim, I just instinctually have been able to do so for as long as me and my parents can remember.

White.

I think because when I was young I associated it with angels and purity and I wanted to be a good person.

Now I just think it looks crisp and clean and it's always been "my" color in games

Are circus stripes a color?

  • Black and white
  • Black and orange
  • Black
  • Red, specifically a nice crimson red
  • Deep purple
[–] JackGreenEarth@lemm.ee 3 points 2 years ago

#702880, it's a beautiful color and a mix of blue and pink. But I use orange/yellow as the theme color for my OSs as it's a warm color

[–] Toes@ani.social 3 points 2 years ago

Hot pink, it looks really nice when contrasted on black.

[–] sga@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

used to be blue (royal blue then sky blue) and now black (i am not a edgy teen, an adult) but still like sky blue

[–] LambdaRX@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 years ago

Hamlidingo Blue, it has cool name.

Blue and purple
That blue and purpleish color combined looks really nice

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 2 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

My favorite color's name is Roy G. Biv.

Because I can't settle on just one.

[–] shinigamiookamiryuu@lemm.ee 2 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Turquoise because it invokes an escapist feeling.

[–] grasshopper_mouse@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Blue and black because I think I look better in those colors compared to other colors.

[–] rain_worl@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

yeah, i like white and gold too

[–] h3mlocke@lemm.ee 1 points 2 years ago

Brown. I like the way it looks.

[–] Sunshine@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 years ago

Turquoise because it feels unique!

[–] Nemo@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 years ago

Chartreuse, because:

  • Fun to spell

  • It's my mom's favorite color

  • Easily recognizable

[–] Tenniswaffles@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 years ago

Purple, spite.
