Cherry picking information. Leaving out facts to make them look like they're doing good shit, happens all the time.
I remember back in about 2016-17, Colorado issued a massive report about how their legalization went, and the impact it had on society. It was a fucking awesome read!!
Then the Norwegian police rewards the report, and states to the media that there is proof in the report that nothing good comes out of legalization; the police used only the facts that more people were now driving while intoxicated.
Of course, that stat is not a lie, but they left out the positive facts that legalization, and for a reason: the Norwegian police use drug offences to bump their crime solving rate.
But the minerals will make the rich richer, so of course, the minerals MUST be mined! It's capitalism 101
