That's right, reject science, accept stupidity.

Conservatism in a nutshell

It’s even worse than that. The student gave an interview and said they wanted to go see a play so they slapped the paper together in a half hour and dint read the material the paper was supposed to be based on.

Absolute cowardice by Oklahoma.

Not cowardice. It’s Oklahoma, so it will just be complicity.

Oklahoma... can't imagine a redder state. That place is a lost cause. I don't envy anybody who lives there, and has to put up with the politics and corruption.

Hold on buddy, I am forced to live here but Texas is giving this state a run for it's money on a redder worse state, and go check out Alabama and Louisiana they are far worse.

Texas has pockets of large cities that balance some of it out. Oklahoma has Oklahoma City, which is still red, despite its status as a populous urban city.

Maybe they should base the play and everything else in her life on that paper until she begs for it to stop. That paper is dingbats compared to one of my morning rambling rants, and I type mine half awake on my phone. Well, not on my phone! While! While holding the god damn phone.

Are they going to fire the faculty member that also gave the paper a zero?

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 20 points 1 week ago

I’m guessing that faculty member was cis 🙃

Fucking awesome. Just erasing trans people from public existence for refusing to be treated like we’re not equals. What a garbage country and state

Here's an archive link, since I wasn't able to access the article.

Threaten funding and get fruit loops passed through.

Here's the full text of her assignment, what she wrote, and what her professors said.

It absolutely irks me reading it. I am an OU alumni, and that level of writing would have been unacceptable in any of my classes. I feel like someone took a giant shit on my degree.
