Elon Musk is personally responsible for this. Every single one of those deaths is on him.

[–] PugJesus@piefed.social 33 points 5 days ago

Him, the senile orange, and their bootlickers.

The American people are personally responsible for this

But if they voted for Kamala there would be a genocide happening in Gaza right now!

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 23 points 5 days ago (1 children)

They were mostly brown people so the Nazis will count that as success.

[–] cygnus@lemmy.ca 7 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Minor correction: if they are brown (or black) they aren't people, so it isn't a problem to begin with.

[–] DeathsEmbrace@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

Yeah you're forgetting that you treat them like people doesn't mean everybody does.

Do these children even vote or buy anything?

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

Maybe they would have, later on, but probably not.

[–] starman2112@lemmy.world 10 points 5 days ago

Yep, that's the point. Literally every republican policy is intended to cause as much pain and suffering and death as possible, because they're Baal worshipping death cultists

Are we still pretending that politicians care?

[–] PugJesus@piefed.social 14 points 5 days ago

Sometimes we pretend that the electorate cares.

Then we're generally disappointed.

ok, not to defend orange cheeto administration, but "one analytical model shows" means "someone is guessing"

i originally misread and thought there is "our model...". "one model" is even more vague, it is just funny

Wait til you find out how literally everything in a society works.

[–] 14th_cylon@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

wait until you do. let me give you head start for free.

credible reporting/journalism works in a way where you refer to reputable sources of your claim or your data, so it is verifiable.

"one model shows", "i have heard", "as we all know", "the deceased grandmother of a dog of my former colleague's brother once saw in a dream" are not credible ways to do it and are not taken seriously by anyone with more than 3 brain cells to their name.

that doesn't mean the statement is not necessarily true, it means it is laughably bad way to pass the information.
