ok, not to defend orange cheeto administration, but "one analytical model shows" means "someone is guessing"

i originally misread and thought there is "our model...". "one model" is even more vague, it is just funny

credible reporting/journalism works in a way where you refer to reputable sources of your claim or your data, so it is verifiable.

"one model shows", "i have heard", "as we all know", "the deceased grandmother of a dog of my former colleague's brother once saw in a dream" are not credible ways to do it and are not taken seriously by anyone with more than 3 brain cells to their name.

that doesn't mean the statement is not necessarily true, it means it is laughably bad way to pass the information.
