Definitely a generational thing. I’m “of a certain age”, and I have never made a folder called “homework”.

C:\My Documents\

Fuck I can't type anymore. It's so fucking stupid. This actually makes me angry

Saddam Hussein had a shitload of hentai on his laptop. He had so much weird shit on there that Behind The Bastards did an entire episode just on the stuff they found on his laptop.

[–] classic@fedia.io 38 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Just searched "osama bin laden hentai." Now that lives in my search history

Literally what private browsing mode is for

[–] classic@fedia.io 8 points 1 month ago

AFAIK That just keeps anyone else looking at your browser history on your device from seeing your searches. That's not my vector of concern

[–] toynbee@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I use private browsing to look up tech questions where I should know the answer.

[–] funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

no it is for buying your partner presents.

[–] Cruxifux@feddit.nl 5 points 1 month ago

Ah you’re right it was Bin Ladens laptop, not husseins.

Friendly reminder, than literally nothing that has passed the hands of police, feds or military can be trusted to be real or unmodified.

This was also found in hunter bidens laptop, sent by his dad, forwarded from Obama.

And suddenly, they'll want "proof".

You have about as much context as I do and I've watched the whole show.

Gintama is a gag anime and is for the most part episodic so you can usually jump into any episode without missing much. There's an overarching plotline where aliens came to Japan during the age of the samurai who all fought against them. The aliens won because space is massive and there are many races of aliens and mercenaries, but ultimately Earth just became another planet to visit and trade with. The samurai resistance was fierce so the aliens banned swords except for the police. This plotline only matters for a few bigger arcs but mainly it just explains why there are samurai with modern and futuristic technology.

The main cast is a ragtag trio who will take on any request for money, the main character is lazy but loyal, and the characters in the clip are friendly reoccurring characters. The guy with the glasses is named Shinpachi and is part of the Odd Jobs trio. He's an awkward character who is too shy and awkward to find romance and is obsessed with a kpop idol.

Those Pandemonium bugs are a snack that demons enjoy eating but they can transform their face into anything. Shinpachi ends up falling in love with it because he's so desperate for love. It became a reoccurring bit where the Pandemonium shows up in multiple episodes and Shinpachi who is usually the straight-man completely loses his role as he's head over heels in love with this grotesque bug that everyone else sees as disgusting

That's why America killed him.

Now this reminds me of a date I had once

[–] massive_bereavement@fedia.io 17 points 1 month ago

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

And now so do you! That's how caching works.

I never knew, and was just fine not knowing that. Now you've gone and made me see what can't be unseen, and my life is ruined (not because of this, tho - I just thought I'd throw that in).

[–] atro_city@fedia.io 5 points 1 month ago

Why aren't we making such memes about the rich? What's the name of that turd that bought TikTok? Make it a meme about how this was found on one of his discarded hard-drives.

[–] DeathByBigSad@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Chat, is this real?

(Honestly there are too much meming these days, dunno what's real anymore)

[–] LarsIsCool@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

This is at least not new. I remember this being said at least 10 years ago

Just something else he and I have in common.

Yestersay I saw some prick comments about the no kings march in the YouTube comment section. Clicked the user. Only one playlist. An Andrea Bocelli album.
... Sure, bud.
