Carl Sagan fragte sich, welche Schlüsse Außerirdische aus einer Beobachtung der Erde ziehen würden. Wahrscheinlich würden sie Autos für die dominante Lebensform halten, da ein Großteil der Siedlungen und Infrastruktur primär nach ihren Bedürfnissen ausgelegt ist.
