A video captioned “Gotta Catch ’Em All” spliced raid footage with Pokémon imagery, sparking calls for Nintendo to step in.

Even the Nintendo haters are hoping they sue the DHS and win.

That's the fun thing about Japanese trademark law. If they don't agressively protect tyeir trademarks, they risk losing them.

This is a myth that is often taught about American trademarks. They do not lose them for lack of enforcement, they can lose them if they don't use the trademark for a certain period (three years) AND some other entity files that they have abandon their mark.

But he was talking about Japanese trademark law

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

That is the rule for Japanese trademarks.

Is this really for honest and for true the DHS account? Is it someone's last day? Did they get hacked? Did they really think this was in any way a good look?

So many questions. I dont know what's real any more. Still funny as fuck.

No they're just all terminally online Nazis. Who the fuck else would work there?

Everybody should start talking about how Nintendo is supporting ice and the deportations and watch how fast they respond.
