Apparently not. Twigs are still attached to the tree and are also flexible. Sticks are detached and dry, so they are not flexible.
That means if a branch or twig falls off the tree, it isn't immediately a stick! It has to dry out a bit, and then it's a stick! God damn. We really have words to differentiate anything and everything. ๐ฎ
Actually, by virtue of it not being attached to the tree anymore after it has fallen, it no longer is a twig even if it hasnโt fully dried up yet. So until it has fully dried, itโs in a state where itโs both twig and stick. A twick if you will.
