Yeah, I have heard them say a lot of things. Like holding people accountable, adhering to the constitution, being a party of law and order, producing a super-duper healthcare plan, stopping wars day-one, not even thinking about touching social security and vet benefits….

Forgive me if I don’t hold my breath while they consider a paltry attempt to maybe balance out an idea that is stupid in the first place. Not taxing tips sounds like a good idea when you first hear it, but what they should be considering is the reason people live on tips in the first place and the pitfalls that this plan opens up to those workers.

What if, and I’m just spitballing here, they work on solving the greater issue that drives our tip culture? I know it’s a lot more work, I understand it means that they have to actually unify across isles, I know it means people need to earn a living wage for an honest days work, but not taxing tips is like hiding a zit with a booger and just because the benevolent financiers of our congressmen are willing to pay a minute fraction more in taxes to keep (and even increase with this idea) the wage theft gravy train rolling, doesn’t make them heroes, nor is it going to blow liberal open, showering the neighborhood with granola and essential oils.

Not everyone is as gullible as a not-rich, fox-groomed conservative. Those who think, those with curiosity who bother to look into these things aren’t fooled.

Glad to see he is committing felonies in person instead of dealing with his business responsibilities. I’m sure the shareholders are just as relieved.

There isn’t a chance in hell this gains any traction here. The red districts can piss and moan all they want, all they represent is land, not the majority of people. This guy just took the wheel while his dipshit predecessor resigned.

Don’t think for a second that I support that nonsense either. Too many innocent people are being slaughtered because of the greed fueling a handful of leaders. Too many nations are unfortunately complicit. Time for a change

Thanks Glitch. I’ll consider your moment of clarity while I piss on your grave.

To those not keeping score, this man may have single-handedly caused more damage to our institution than anyone else, alive or dead. It’s more than coincidence that his actions are in perfect alignment with the kremlin. We are now in a tail-spin of destabilization that greatly benefits putin. Funny how that all worked out, neh?

Why would he? They are the best and brightest he’s got.
