They're so fucking expensive now. I swear they've gone up by like double over the last decade.

There's only 2 rules that I can think of right now
Rule 1: Don't ridicule
Rule 2: Don't be an arsehole
If you can think of anything else let me know. Cheers.
So true and I have to tell my household that they are an "on special/2 for the price of one" occasion only 🙁
The Aldi ones are not as good. But they're good enough that you can use them and not miss TimTams too much.
Interesting. I'll have to give them a go. I've only recently gone to Aldi for an actual shop (as opposed to for the centre aisle specials, or to pick up one or two things) for pretty much the first time.
I find that cwntre aisle such an interesting concept, and it's popularity eeven more interesting.
Like, a bunch of random specials available only in certain periods of a season or year; of varying medium to low quality loss leaders.
When you compare it to the on-demand, delivered to your door, web based stores its surprising to see the model survives and thrive, and also really popular creating a buzz.
Their ginger stem biscuits are the best ginger bikkies on the market. Their mid-tier chocolate range (the choceur ones) are far better than the Cadbury-tier stuff and 60% the price.
Most of their stuff falls into the 'not as good, but good enough for half the price' category though.

I just tried them for the first time last night. And holy shit they're good! Their off-brand timtams are also excellent. maybe 80% as good at half the price.
Ouch. Naturally, we’re going to have to sample all the different flavors.
I hope you've tried a Tim Tam slam. Bite the opposite corners off, use it like a straw and suck it full of tea/coffee then eat it quickly before it melts.
It’s on my to-do list, for sure. So far those lovely choccy biccies get devoured well before they are able to get close to the tea and coffee
get a family pack
The secret for these is to use the caramel centre ones. It gives them more structural integrity
Always did this with chocolate coated teddy bears and a hot chocolate as a kid. I think i need to visit the supermarket
