You actually can see the effects of fluoridated water on someone's face. By the lack of teeth rotting out of their head, to be specific.

You mean the lack of decent dental healthcare. Most EU countries do not flouridate their water and we are just fine. Our toothpaste is fluoridated by the way, so it's by no means a stand against fluoride itself.

Judging by how people respond to this subject it's a hot take, but fluoridation should never be a substitute for brushing and regular affordable checkups if you ask me.

regular affordable checkups Not in North America...

It's really tragic how these people never learned to build an identity of their own and fall prey to these "secret knowledge" patterns of thought.

You're not more special than other people due to the legal fan fiction you've concocted. However you are special in the sense that I wouldn't let you near my family.

I like commas too, but didn’t anyone ever teach this sovcit that run-on sentences are bad?

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 4 points 3 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (2 children)

This is the Internet, my dude, where the comma is used in place of every other piece of punctuation.

[–] sxan@midwest.social 3 points 3 days ago

Or not at all.

I admit to being peeved at people who make no attempt to use either punctuation or capitalization correctly. Especially on web pages; I've seen all lowercase blogs enough to know it's some sort of trendy style. It's difficult to read, and I will be happy when it fades away.

Sounds like that cop was… fluoreyed.

I’ll see myself out.

What the fuck rabbit hole did this person get down to think any of that was remotely meaningful? It's like they distilled brainrot into a person-shaped vessel.

It is in fact the truth that you do indeed require a license and tax and insurance, and that you are not some fictional person to whom the laws do not apply.

Unless, of course, you are The Man Who is Not The Man and have signed the affadavit of truth at a 46 degree angle in Hb pencil whilst within the shadow of a government official on the 2nd Sunday of a month ending in Y.

Then you'd be sweet.

The pencil has to be blue though

[–] harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I thought it had to be red.

[–] Flamekebab@piefed.social 3 points 3 days ago

That's just what they want you to think.

Big if true

[–] klemptor@startrek.website 5 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Does this moron really think they'll be able to spout off this mouthful of nonsense to a cop if they get pulled over?

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

I have never seen anyone so confident in believing their own bullshit more than a sovcit.

[–] SPRUNT@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Are they white?

(It's a rhetorical question.... Of course they're white)

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 4 points 3 days ago

She uses all the language of a sovcit: traveling, private property, something or other ID. Her plate says "private" or something. Apologies, my instance was down when I saw this, so it's the next day and I don't remember all the details.

[–] Aqarius@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago
