In short:

Former prime minister Scott Morrison will be appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) for his "eminent service" to the country.

He thanked the Australian people for their "courage and resilience" during multiple crises during his term, including the COVID pandemic and Black Summer bushfires.

What's next?

King’s Birthday Honours List award recipients will be invited to ceremonies at their state's Government House over coming months.

Fuck off.

This cunt refused to do shit, let boats into Sydney so lib mates could dock and spread the virus, and wanted to keep us open for Easter or whatever Christian holiday it was.

It took Dan Andrew’s putting Vic into lockdown that forced him to the table to act.

Plus Dan copped all the heat when every major outbreak could be traced back to Gladys

This is the guy that doesn't hold a hose and supported efforts to overturn WA's closed border. Fuck him

RIP satirical news. You are missed.

Didn't he approve the Ruby Princess cruise ship to Dock in Sydney that started the big wave of covid? Details are sketchy in my mind but I do remember vehement hate towards him and the NSW leaders.

A liar, a thief and a murderer.

What did the federal government even do in 2020? Everything I remember about government response was at the state level.

I'm from Melbourne, and I remember the bit where he didn't put in an order for vaccines, and took the vaccines that we did have secured and redirected them to NSW as we went into out 6th fucking lockdown over it.

That, and his Holiday in Hawaii as we were choking on soot.

While seemingly fuck-all was happening at a Federal level, Festival Hall got acquired by Hillsong Church.

The general trend of his Prime Ministership is that he was there for his mates.

Cunt.

That, and his Holiday in Hawaii as we were choking on soot.

It's much worse than that. the holiday in Hawaii was a lie. He was in NY for the opening of a new church.

Instead of giving a statement to the press saying "Sorry, I'm in New York for an event with my church. I'll be on the first plane home" the Government pretended he hadn't left the country and he made a stopover in Hawaii on the way home so photos could be "leaked" of him "being a dad and spending time with his kids during the school holidays".

The Australian public were having none of it.

Very few people would have a problem if he went with the actual truth of "Sorry, I'm in New York for an event with my church. I'll be on the first plane home" but hey, liars gotta lie!

[–] sobriquet@aussie.zone 5 points 4 days ago

The Hawaii trip was bad enough, but is there any actual evidence to back up this NY claim? I couldn’t find any reputable media even talking about it. Even the Daily Mail article I found just posed the NY suggestion as a question.

It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out that he was at Epstein's joint.

Scomo was happy to let it rip for the sake of business interests.

It was only the Premiers who stood up to him that saved thousands of Aussies. I'm not a fan of Gladys, but she did get one thing right.

Then Scomo formed the National Cabinet to make it look like he was the big man in charge leading it all, when in reality it was the states doing everything.

[–] dumbass@leminal.space 17 points 4 days ago

How in the god damn fucking fuck did that pants shitting piss weak excuse for a cum rag earn this? Fucking New Zealand secured our vaccines while he was playing ukelele, he left it all up to the states to deal with.

[–] MHLoppy2@aussie.zone 16 points 4 days ago

While no doubt we could've done a lot worse, this still reads like a satirical headline to me

Onya Scotty!

crises during his term, including the COVID pandemic and Black Summer bushfires.

My favourite moment during your heroic handling of the bushfires was when you tried to shake that firefighter's hand and he said "No! I don't want to shake your hand" so you lurked around behind him and said "HOwZ THe CUPPA!!!!"

We should all leave our soiled pants out for Scotty tonight.

Who the fuck gave this cunt the award

[–] mertn22@aussie.zone 1 points 2 days ago

One of his few mates probably.

[–] Tenderizer@aussie.zone 4 points 4 days ago

He probably arranged for this himself. Wouldn't put it past him.

The problem is I love all three publications and would struggle to choose one name.

Is this Scott Morrison the minister for health? Or the minister for finance? Or perhaps Scott the minister for home affairs? Wait it must be Scott the treasurer.

Satire is dead.
