Yes, women need men. Who is primarily fighting in Ukraine? Who was forced to stay and who was allowed to leave? Answer: The men had to stay to fight while women and children were allowed to evacuate the country.
Defense is just one example of what men do for women.

There are always going to be bad men trying to commit aggression, so one should be grateful that there are other men who counter that.
If you want to turn this into a man-problem, then why stop there? You might as well turn this into a human-problem. Turning this into a gender issue rather than focusing on the bad people specifically, is an arbitrary (and toxic) way of framing the issue.
Some women stay and fight. If there were no men, then more women would stay and fight. Your argument is really holds no water.

That's primarily the responsibility of men. Even if some women are involved.
