What about Switch 2 and original Switch controller? Do I need new version for Switch2

Original Pro Controllers are fully supported. I couldn't find any mention of whether that includes third-party controllers, but I'm assuming so until they say otherwise. (Please don't break my 8BitDo and GP2040-CE...)

Old JoyCons work wirelessly, but can't be connected physically, and you might need a standalone charger for them if you don't have one. Also they obviously don't support new features like mouse mode, so they might not be compatible with games that use those features.

This! Thank you.

The original joycons and pro controller will work for the most part, with some limitations. Like the original joycons won't wake the switch 2 from sleep, and obviously they won't support any new functionality like the mouse mode.

Other than what Zarxrax said, Switch 1 JoyCon won't physically connect with Switch 2, but can be connected wirelessly. Pro Controller will work, but won't wake Switch 2 from sleep.
