Haunted. Absolute banger.

Who'd have thought Descent 2 would get me in to such a band.

Never played it, but I heard that the song was on the soundtrack. Was it instrumental on there?

You know what, I don't know! Even though it was Redbook audio if I remember rightly, I think it was just a short loop of the song rather than the whole track. That's a job for this evening 😊

Turns out it's two minutes and change, and instrumental. I remember it because it was the soundtrack to a secret level that I got stuck in for hours.

e: ah there it is, probably would have been quicker to do that in the first place

Lovely, thanks for looking that up! Great that that soundbyte could turn you on to this extraordinary album and band.

I still can't keep myself from howling along to Wolf Moon

Green Man is a downright euphoric, yet melancholic track.

That description covers the entire album for me, but you're right. "Green man" brings it home.

Of course, Peter Steele was the Green Man. He earned the nickname working in municipal park services 🙂

Haha, true. It's a great record.

Speaking of Green Man, when I listen to the song on Spotify, there's a noticeable volume dip when the last chorus starts. Is it the same on the vinyl master?

I haven't noticed, but now I'll have to listen to it again to check 👍
