It is however very in character for trump to say otherwise lol

[–] [email protected] -5 points 2 days ago (2 children)

it's 50.8% of the votes that went to either Kamala or Trump

[–] [email protected] 1 points 21 hours ago

That's true, but the meme quite clearly says that Trump got 50.8%.

You're wrong Lemming

[–] [email protected] 28 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Not how that works, but okay.

[–] [email protected] -5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

not really but you know, those are the votes that decide who becomes president

People like you keep the RNC DNC power sharing effective dictatorship scheme going.

"You can vote for all the pointless affirmation ribbons(D) and/or cruel scapegoating(R) you want, so long as you vote for soul crushing capitalist metastasis, for profit mass murder confidence schemes including our entire healthcare system, mass homelessness, and perverse levels of economic inequality(D&R) at all cost.

Freedom!"

how does voting other parties help?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago) (1 children)

Without people like you claiming our two corrupted, coconspiring parties shouting that they're the only choices, we could have a real choice.

Surely you see how it's in the best interests of the DNC and the RNC to declare themselves the only rational options, but still, sometimes they lose. AOC is a good example of this in a primary, they still despise her for "stealing" that neoliberals seat, and Sanders is another as an independent.

Republicans/Democrats are only as inevitable as we believe they are, and some people under their thumb sure to enjoy trapping others under said thumb. With either of those parties in charge, we are not free. This is theater, a game they cooperatively play against us while taking the same bribes from the same oligarchs and driving social wedges between us to keep us too hateful unite against the economy they both protect from us. The supposed democratic equivalent of "you can have any color you want as long as it's black."

Things will continue to decline until their political duopoly ends, or we collapse by their hands which is looking sooner rather than later. We sink a little slower under Democrats because pointless ribbons don't destroy the social fabric as scapegoating does, but we're still sinking under either.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

the duopoly is not gonna end by voting. you gotta take down both parties for that to happen. good luck

[–] [email protected] 1 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

You say that as if there is any hope under them.

There is not. Best, best, best, best, best case scenario, the Neoliberals take back the white house on four years, but will do nothing to reign in our oligarch capitalists, leaving the table set for fascist takeover again in 4 years.

https://apnews.com/article/business-nancy-pelosi-congress-8685e82eb6d6e5b42413417f3d5d6775

If you have any hope that doesn't begin with painful collapse, you're deluding yourself. The most likely outcome of all this is a couple decades of fascist control until climate change, that thing still going unchecked were only beginning to feel, takes civilization behind the shed and does what needs to be done.

At this point im kind of grateful climate change is beating all models and projections, because the thought of generations being born into this greed prison hell, born to suffer for a few sociopath families, that would be worse.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 14 hours ago

what point are you trying to make

[–] [email protected] 27 points 2 days ago

Well that's because he wasn't a dictator yet at that time of that election, next time I'm sure he'll win BIGLY with 389% of the vote!

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I still can't believe half the country voted for this...

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Are you really going to nitpick about 1%? 49 is basically 50

[–] [email protected] 3 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I told that to my mom when she was 49 and she got mad :(

[–] [email protected] 2 points 19 hours ago

My condolences 🙏😞

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Just gonna point out that only like 40-60 percent of the country votes on any given election year. So being generous Trump was only voted in by about thirty percent of the population at most.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

If you don't vote even if you can your vote goes to the extremist party automatically. You can' not vote and then claim you were against it. If you really were, you would have voted against it, even if the alternative wasn't good either.

[–] [email protected] -4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Alright nitpick #2 "half of the people of the United States that are adults and citizens" y'all are so autistic sometimes. Just understand the intention of the comment and move on. I don't need you to give me an aKcHuAlLy comment.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

But it's not even half of adults and citizens, only 40-60% of eligible voters even vote, so if you were counting children it would be even lower than 1/3. Probably as low as 1/4

[–] [email protected] 1 points 22 hours ago

Yeah I don't get why they think it's nit picking when it's a massive difference in view lmfao.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 2 days ago

I might be missing the joke but Trump won with 49.81% of the vote.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 2 days ago (2 children)

If only that dickhead in Butler knew to aim for the center of mass....
But no, the idiot needed his headshot.
He wanted to be Lee Harvey Oswald but ended up John Schrank

[–] [email protected] 16 points 2 days ago

Honestly, we don't know where he was actually aiming. He could've been aiming center mass and just sucked, which might line up with the whole story about him not being allowed into the marksmanship club at his school.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Does Trump wear body armour?

Even without it, one shot centre of mass isn't a guaranteed kill.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Has a much greater chance than wiffing it completely.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

The target’s age and health probably also factor in.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago

Winnie Pooh looks buff

[–] [email protected] 12 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You'd think that bullet or the broken glass would be in the Smithsonian or something. You know, if it was real.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 2 days ago

Bullet probably has the herpa derp on it and was a biohazard.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

Global capitalism

[–] [email protected] 6 points 2 days ago

Honecker won with 98%

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 days ago

I still can’t get over how small his hands look in every picture of this bullshit

[–] [email protected] -1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

106%

It's a necrocracy. I'm going to risk the dead also vote, by representation.

100%

Full support for the leader. Dissention is not an option.

88%

The resemblance of a democracy is still to uphold. Very lightly. But...

50.9%

This is democracy and maths call the victor!

Do I have to add it?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

The meme is a joke by making fun of Trump for behaving like the other Autocrats while he can't even get his numbers up like them (yet).
