U.S. stock markets fell once again on Tuesday, continuing a sell-off that has seen equity markets across the world crater since President Trump's announcement of tariffs.

This is a deliberate tanking of the US economy. Nobody, his puppeteers nor Trump himself, are so stupid to think this would be "good" for anyone. This is second term Trump folks. We're only 3 months in. Start digging your hole now.

at this point its lost about a years worth of value.

To be fair, the "value" has been dubious for years. Everything was/is propped up on the mag 7, and all their promises are built on hypothetical tech, enshittification, and unsustainable business practices. The greed was/is waaay overextended.

oh yeah and wealth inequality to. This whole millenium it has been pretty much funny money. Everyone below a certain level is in funds that automatically buy for their retirement and above that are folks where they have to put their money somewhere. P/E ratios have been out the window and normal ones are the average before 2k.

The bounce yesterday was actually the dumbest thing ever. It's crazy that a tweet from a nobody can literally pump/dump the entire stock market these days. Everyone's fear/greed switch is on a hair-trigger (probably actually due to bot traders).

Edit: and now today he completely reversed the messaging and caused the same rally again.

Have you looked at the markets today? The biggest day of gains in 5 years. The fire sale is today.

So I think we might be experiencing Trump going off the rails in an attempt to avoid inevitably being sent to jail - or worse continuing to live in never ending litigation.

Think about it, he's got the ability to set fire to everything - what better way to get away with all your horrible actions than just obliterating the system that would be responsible for holding you accountable? Not only that, this basically makes him a hero to Putin - why not just go live in Putin's palace for the rest of his life?

This is Trump's 'fuck you' to everyone that's ever wanted to hold him accountable for being a filled to the seat public shitter.
