This is exactly what I thought of Russia after their failed invasion of Ukraine. Generally regarded as a super power prior, they put on display how atrophied their millitary had become by not being able to steam roll Ukraine.
yet europeans are still afraid that russia is going to conquer europe somehow.
They can if they divide us beforehand. Russia's greatest arms aren't rifles or shells or nukes, it's information and sowing dissent in other countries. I am 100% sure Hungary wouldn't be in its current state if Russia wasn't involved somehow.
I'm Mostly just worried about nukes and someone on there side will follow through.

Well, yeah? When Russia rolled in Ukraine had already been at war for 6 years. Ukraine was as prepared as you can be against a surprise invasion. Most of the EU probably doesn't even entertain the possibility of an invasion. If Russia were to invade the EU not only would the EU not be prepared for it but Russia would also have the advantage in experience.
I'm not saying Russia would conquer the whole of EU but, if they also take Ukraine, I could see them taking the whole eastern Europe.

Why would Trump care if he wins?
As he has for most of his bankruptcy laden past, he's largely playing with other people's lives. He'll be fine, and he enjoys inflicting cruelty on others for its own sake when he "loses."
The US has the terminal disease of hubris, not Trump. Trump is just insane. But the US elected him as their leader and the electorate as a whole can't plead insanity here.
Trump is the symptom. Trump certainly has hubris in spades, he’s a reflection of the condition afflicting the US. Nonetheless, the US is probably going to cease to exist in the form it’s maintained in the last century.
There are far too many parallels that this shit has with the Weimar Republic. I’m working on contingency plans.
He’s trying to crash the market. This dude needs to be removed from power. He’s an absolute moron retaliating like a 5 year old child.
I didn't vote for this, i just wanted to hurt gay, trans, black, immigrant, libs and all the other people i was taught to hate but not this, no sir.
He never said this was the only reason Trump needs to be removed from power.

I voted for the guy who said he would do all of this, but I didn’t think he’d do the parts that harm me.
Don't worry, I'm sure Congress will spring into action any moment now. Yup, definitely any moment...I mean, what's the point of even having checks and balances if they won't check or balance?
China should respond with a tariffs system that jumps randomly between 34% to 1000% for US goods every hour. Tell Trump it is all run by AI now, and it takes into account Trump saying thank you in mandarin. Say it is just medicine.
it should always be double what trump is dishing out, if he says 50%, china will increase it by 100% on top of whatever tariff was there before.

tRump is about to enter the find out phase, I wonder if he will even notice.
China just needs to do what Trump wants and refuse to export things to the US for a week or two. That should be enough for the people bankrolling Trump to get rid of him.
Doing something like that might unify the silent opposition against Trump, giving them strength in numbers. Letting his allies break one by one means that the first several will be destroyed by Trump before the opposition gains enough momentum to work.
He is mentally unwell if he thinks this is a viable strategy. China cannot be bullied by the USA.

I don’t think you understand the damage that will do. It will literally cause thousands if not multiple tens of thousands of deaths. Lack of medicine alone would kill many. 80% of our ingredients for pharmaceuticals come from China and other countries. Then there are foods, replacement parts, tech, and uncountable other things that keep america running and people alive. Now maybe you’re fine with setting the world on fire, and trump probably won’t give a fuck, will seize total power, and start wars over it, but the rest of us will suffer far more than a flippant “embargo” comment admits.
Yes, it will damage the US. But at this point, you will really need the pain to actually do something about Trump.
