Of all the shows that they could trim, why did it have to be the best one?

I did just see a comment on another thread saying they get tired of shows that run on forever, and they should be wrapped up in two or three seasons. I think 5 is a good max amount of seasons for a show to run. Just look at The Boys, the 5th season is gonna be the last, and tbh I think it's about time for the story to finally go somewhere.

Remember when five seasons on broadcast TV would take a steady, predictable five years to film?

I can’t blame actors (or any other key staff member) who are reluctant to sign a contract for five seasons on a streaming service. That could easily take a decade of your career.

I'd've liked to see Andor as an ongoing anthology of stories set in the star wars universe. It doesn't need to follow a central story line.
