The city is absolutely cursed. Wasn't it originally built on or near a native American burial ground or something? Or is that just Grundy and his swamp?

Plus the multiple Lazarus pit thing.

He doesn't have a doctorate but Joker is stated to be an expert chemist almost on par with Scarecrow, just different focuses.

Ra's Al Ghul is 600 years old, a master of multiple martial arts and languages, has first-hand knowledge of all kinds of history, and is the leader of the League of Shadows.

And I'd be willing to throw most supernatural villains in the list too.

That's how I've seen people explain it. Like everyone who has access to the funds is basically taking a bit for themselves. And if not, then almost everyone is incredibly easy to bribe or pay off somehow.

Basically Gotham is corrupt to the absolute core (think every facet of city government, all the bureaucrats and city workers and such) and the League was right to have a plan to wipe it off the map.

"Something goin' on in there?"

"Nope."

Don't they already kinda have marketing that specifically says "only in theaters"?

I finally got my PS3 emulator up and running, so I'm finally able to play Sly 4 for the first time.

It's... different from the others. First in art, second on overall feel. The art is changed for a more cartoon aesthetic than comic book, so animation in the 2D cutscenes is more fluid and there are more details on everything (you can see the wrinkles in Sly's shirt, and the tufts of fur, for instance). The gameplay feels more floaty, like when you jump it looks like you kinda hover for a second before falling back down and it feels a little more weightless than the first three games.

I'm still liking that I get to play more Sly, so I'm not complaining too much.

The sad part for me is that I only know if Intruder, Sub Rosa, etc. because of General Sam, a YouTuber who almost always plays multiplayer games with his friends.

Although he makes it seem fun, and he is absolutely a toxic player, so I was interested in checking out Intruder at one point because of his videos on it. I think it's still on my wishlist.

Imo that's how these things go almost 100% of the time.

New unknown game gets a ton of random hype around it insanely fast? Looks pretty jank and kind of barebones? Has some sort of party play/chat mechanic? Must be a YouTuber/streamer game.

Kinda like Lethal Company (and all other games like it), Intruder, Sub Rosa, Perfect Heist; and all those other asset flip type games. Hell even all those "store simulator" games that all look identical fall into this too.

If we really wanted to make it difficult, we could use stills from the newer episodes. I feel like most of us either haven't seen all of them or haven't seen them enough to know where they'd be from.

This is what I choose to believe

In my opinion, "nommed" is a pointless abbreviation of "nominated."

Did the author forget how to spell or something?

Edit: apparently I forgot how to spell

I was just wondering everyone's favorite level(s) were/are. You can explain why you like it, or you can just name drop the level you like most.

Mine are probably:

  1. Assault on The Control Room, I love the big epic set pieces of the level, and it has probably the best/most "examples" of what Halo is as a game than any other in CE. You have big weapons, vehicles, large open battles, and awesome music.

  2. Delta Halo from Halo 2. I love the lush jungle setting and going through the underwater elevator is always fun. Plus I love just beating the hell out of Truth.

  3. Halo, from Halo 3. Like Assault on The Control Room, this level has it all

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline.

I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world.

We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be.

What do you think?
