The class war has always been going on and if you are reading this you're not on the winning side.

Capital has no delusion as to who its enemies are. But it profits when you don't.

I'm sure there's at least one trust fund baby on here somewhere.

In general millennials stand a pretty decent chance of inheriting something, and there's lots of those here. Trust fund babies maybe less so

Inherit what? Most boomers that owned hotook out reverse mortgages on them, and most that you talk to proudly state that they are going to spend it all before they die. Few millennials are gonna get anything from their parents.

Same with us Gen Z with Millennial older siblings, and a gen X mom and boomer father. Anything I stood to inherit (despite being "free labor" for eight housing unit from ages 6 - 24) I stand to inherit from my silent gen grandfather who made a trust I'm not allowed to utilize or hear about till my grandma dies. Plus the odds are not on my side to even have me outlive my 75 year old father, ha.

Odds in the current financial arrangement, no.if you kill your masters those odds go up though!

Hahaha! That's funny. You think the massive industries aimed at retiring Boomers are planning to do anything but suck them completely dry? No, there won't be anything left once they're gone, just horrible inequality like we have now.

Its already been stated a bunch, but no one has pointed out that social security is a handfull of years away from collapsing entirely. The elderly are targetted egregiously from "buy my bible" to "donate to my fund to stop the vil left" to "make sure you pay your tithe to the local church". Theres also the massively overpriced jewelry commercials targetting seniors and the health coverage scams, but those arent directly Trumps fault so i find them less entertaining to bring up. Either way, the elderly are hemorrhaging money almost at the same rate the rich are getting richer.

The only inheritance I got was a used car

i mean that's not why i have a trust but yeah family helped build it since, being disabled, it's difficult to find a place that doesn't want to try to pay me 1/3 the market rate.

[–] krooklochurm@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago

Can you send me 1/3 the market rate of $100,000?

We need to start actually fighting the class war. We would win for sure. Perhaps the sentiment will not persist once they are subjected to an AVERAGE life. Surely we can finally end this age old ridiculous problem, right?

Think about how to kill and dispose of obe if you see it in the nice part of town, so that if you ever see one in the course if your day, barriers to action are lowered.
