The U.S. Congress will consider a bill introduced by a Republican representative to step up border cooperation and allow U.S. border agents to act more freely on Canadian soil.
By tabling Bill 5518, Rep. Nicholas Langworthy — a Republican from New York State — is asking the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, to "negotiate or amend existing agreements with the Government of Canada, if any, to integrate cross-border air, sea and land operations".
The bill also seeks to ensure that U.S. border agents can intervene in Canada and that their Canadian counterparts can intervene in the United States. All "in order to improve border security or police operations, including for the conduct of operations in the land, sea and air domains".
Disgusting keep that ICE crap out of Canada.
