2024, 29 BILLION IN SUBSIDIES. If fossil fuels still has to cut jobs after that then fuck em. Let the industry fail.

What I don't get if oil is so great why does the industry need so many subsides.

Because politicians can't directly steal 29 gigabucks without consequence. By cranking that money into a crooked industry they can manipulate investments and receive an assload of bribes without scrutiny.
