If there is one thing I'd hoped the world learned from us in the last 9 years or so, don't bend a fucking knee to conservatives regardless of where they are. Don't excuse, try to explain away or "Sanewash" shit they do.
Don't publize them, call out that idiocy was said, show why it's idiotic, and drop it. Don't give them time to dominate the news cycle.
God damnit it's frustrating seeing others go through the shit you just tried to stop, it's like watching the cars continue to slam into a pile up on a frozen foggy highway.
Calling alt-right authoritarian regressives/reactionaries "conservatives" bothers me. It's like "Damn those democracies and republics, like North Korea", and "Nazis were nationalists and socialists - it's in the name".
Conservatism is being wary of change and sticking to what works. Like not fucking up the climate.
Conservative parties have been idologically opposed to the rights, freedoms, and prosperity of the regular person for centuries. Word meanings are contextual, and in the context of governing blocs, it's never meant "wary of change and sticking to what works". It has always meant "fuck you, I've got mine".
When feudalism was the old way, and human rights and freedoms were new, they were literally conserving the old way. The name was technically true.
Anyway, my point: Don't let enemies commandeer language with their newspeak where nothing means anymore what it apparently means and used to mean. If we agree to call them conservatives now, some literal-minded centrists (or whatever they are) will be fooled into voting them. We should repeat "that name is a lie, their actions are alt-right authoritarian". It's a mistake to go along with the lie and write on a map "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" or "Gulf of America".

I disagree. It's about the status quo. So to them it is about protecting regular people but in this sense the regular people are the status quo people. This is why they're successful. They have higher social intelligence. The left even describes this system without realizing it. The left are more diverse sub groups. Minority groups within the pop culture. So political the right are mostly always trying to maintain the social order while the left looks to disrupt it.
The right are blue jeans and bubble gum America. The left are multiple sub groups of minorities all trying to make their main status quo while the status quo people reject all these groups in order to maintain their status quo.
This is why Republicans do try to conserve. They fight to maintain the blue jeans bubble gum way while the left fight to change it.
This is a child’s level of understanding lol. Which is about where the conservatives are at these days
Big errors in your thinking.
First is thinking you're going to win with an inflated sense of competency. Pretending like you're above it all is going to mean failure.
The reason for that is because of your second failure in thinking that "they're all conservatives". They're not. Just like I'm not liberal even though I'll vote that way. So what are they?
They're no less smarter or any more dumb then you or me. They have different values. Majority of them are not just conservative or Republican or even right wing. They're just people mildly paying attention. So saying 'you should know just google it' missed the fact that this opinion will lose every ounce of power politically.
Why your line of reasoning fails is it shows how you're not willing to accept that all those people really do respond to certain messages over others. The left fails at creating content and winning social victories which are the foundational blocks to winning the bigger victories. Stop acting like you're too big brained to understand what every single person has known for centuries. Messages should be easy to understand and digest to maximize its reach.
Everybody keeps calling them stupid. They're not. I would even bet on average they have a much greater understanding of current events than people on the left. This is because the right has more surface area and easier to digest content, slogans, media, efforts than the left. We all see these simple slogans and think what a stupid message. Meanwhile it still rallies them to create city crippling convoys where those idiots are still on bridges today. We keep confusing their messages and politics as stupid without realizing it's really just purposely simple whereas we're all regulated to corners of the internet with barely anything to spread expect comments like "welp those idiots sure did it again, they usurped power while we passively watch".
If they're winning victory after victory and usurping power then whose the real idiots

Also status quo and sub groups within society isn't any mind blowing revelation. It's just people fail to apply it to politics for some reason even though it explains so much of it.
If that was a fact then conservatives would have more empathy for the poor, for immigrants, for people in jail ... for everyone who has less than they do.
But that's not true, is it? Conservatives want money and power and they will beat the living shit out of anyone they can to get it.

No but hear me out. Republicans are more social than the left. The left are composed of people who feel more for minority issues. This often is because they themselves are rejected from more popular mainstream culture.
Most right wing groups are culturally frat bros and cheerleaders throwing keg bush parties. No matter where you go in the world. As adults they're chaining boats together and throwing keg parties and reminding everyone about their glory football days.
They are executives and others climbing the social ladder which puts them in a class where social order is important. Hence why they are more effective at spreading information and changing the culture.
They are more inline with the dominant culture.
The left is made up of sub groups within society. They are not a dominant culture. It's why they're more inline with minority issues. Socially they don't even like each other.
And this is why the left fails. They fail to engage because they do things that nobody cares for but they lack social awareness to realize this. They'll go block traffic while the right is throwing a boat party to gain support
I think you've made up a definition of the term 'social intelligence' that supports your way of thinking but isn't factual. That's called confirmation bias and you are rife with it.
