to save you a click, they found an ecosystem where they didn't really expect to see one but it's not a great big novelty, just the normal sort of "never seen that species before" kind of novelty that comes with nearly every trip below the waves.
it's very funny how this kind of thing constantly repeats, and then you look at the horror and it's utterly mundane and kinda pathetic
elephants aren't afraid of mice, but humans are apparently so desperate for horror that we'll be spooked by jellyfish
The elephants are afraid of stomping the little creatures to death, actually.

Yeah, I was wondering what about a tentacled animal would be so exciting, given that there are so many other tentacled animals out there already...
