@solrize I would definitely enjoy it more with Anduril. That's not to everyone's taste of course, but I think manufacturers would do well to base their simple UIs on the FSM codebase for its otherwise mature feature set (thermal management and such).
Yeah I'd still be interested in seeing an SC13A review if Sofirn will send you one (I presume they are supplying the lights). I've mostly lost interest in Sofirn though.
The Atmega cpu used in all Anduril lights costs about $1 which might be a stopper for using it in inexpensive lights. There is a comparable Risc-V processor that costs 10 cents and might be a plausible porting target:

I don't know how similar the programming would be. The larger version looks to cost about 25 cents in qty 20 on alibaba.
