I'm in the anger spiral right now and this bot pisses me the fuck off.
You don't need to leave a comment to do what you're doing. Scrape the fuckin data in the background and shut the fuck up. You don't have to tell us about every post.
I have had to block several of these bullshit "helpful" bots.
You could go to the github and file an issue, I guess?
If the devs are anything like me (stupid AF), they probably see the comments as evidence their wonderful creation works well and have never thought about the comment-spam aspects (which is kinda just a difference of opinion, but might come as a surprise to them)

On the whole, of course not. It helps, even if one has repeatedly to do it.
