A place to share screenshots of Microblog posts, whether from Mastodon, tumblr, ~~Twitter~~ X, KBin, Threads or elsewhere.
Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

Never understood men who keep their wallet or phone in a back pocket.
Wallet makes sense in the back pocket. It's been kind of the default for generations so much it's a comedic point in TV Shows and movies at times. They're generally malleable and an easy place to grab, for better or worse.
Phone on the other hand, I don't get either. They're rigid and can break quite easily if sat on. π€·ββοΈ
Wallet in back pocket = back pain. Itβs pressing on your sciatica. Keep it in your front pocket, or get cargo pants.
..is this a humble brag about how heavy your wallet is from all your gold doubloons? π€¨
*sciatic nerve. "sciatica" is the kind of pain caused by compression of the nerve.
Anecdotal. I keep a trim wallet and have never had back pain.
I usually declutter my wallet after it hits the three pound level .... or the leather explodes.
I agree. I was just stating "it makes sense". Small wallet for the front pocket. Can't always wear cargo lol

I'd go crazy if I had to sit with a lump under one ass cheek.
First world problems. "My wallet is so thick that I call it a lump".
My empty wallet is still a lump.
? My "wealth" such as it is is 2 credit cards, a debit card, and an id. If you're carrying around every card you have, you have no plan. Figure out your spending to maximize credit card points. Why would I have my travel credit card with me in the grocery store? I'd have my everyday points card.
Don't you ever just get the urge to keep on driving and never go back?

Don't disagree. Small wallet for front pocket is my go to. Just was saying "it makes sense".
Wallet in the back pocket has cost me nearly 6-figures in medical bills for back pain over the years.
I just take the phone out when I sit.

I keep my wallet in my back pocket because then if someone wanted to steal it they'd have to touch my butt thus making them gay.

I kept my phone in my back pocket when I was a teen until a rivet shattered the screen when I sat down.
Most front pockets on women's pants are too small unless it's the dreaded fake pocket (Curse you cute pair of jeans!). Thus usually in my back pocket while walking and not in use. It is removed when sitting though.
They did mention men specifically. Unless you mean you're a man using women's pants, in which case, fair enough.

Zoomies did that for a while, still see a lot of immigrant kids sporting that look.
It's uncomfortable to walk up stairs and uphill when my phone is in my front pocket. Plus the movement to get it out from my back pocket is so much swifter.
