A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

It's actually devastating to society. The whole Amazon delivery mindset is a plague that affects so many people now.
A customer buys a used piece of equipment off ebay, mind you something big enough to go on a skid, and within the day they buy it; "Is it shipped yet? I need the tracking number. When will it be here?" I hate these morons.
This mentality bleeds into repair work as well, which I got tired of, I'm just going to do something else for work. One ~~cunt~~ I meant customer told me she needs this fixed yesterday. I intentionally took my time. Same goes for the idiots that call me and ask if I can come out right now, or "can you come in at 4AM before we open to fix this machine?" Like yeah, I'm going to go to the shop, pick up tools and parts at 2AM, then drive an an hour to your restaurant so I can make pretty much minimum wage---(taxes, fuel, insurance, wear and tear on my car, billing, inventory, part shopping, etc, all the invisible expenses) and then of course having to justify why I charge so much to fix something in minutes. Yeah like the over a decade of experience was just given to me on a flash stick that shoved up my yass and I learned everything instantly.
It wasn't like this when I first started doing this kind of a job. People were more relaxed. I'm keeping doing repair work to a minimum, and I work on a lot of really expensive equipment. And there's a severe shortage of people that do what I do. Part of it is the expenses, part of it is everyone's Amazon like mentality. And don't forget the "why does this cost so much more for the same work you did two years ago." Sigh. Trade work was fun but the last few years I can't be bothered anymore. Sorry for the rant.
