There's plenty of people on this post acting like a stinky man is unfit.
Suffice to say this is false.
There are plenty of things to criticize in a man. Their stank is not one of the ones that matter to me.
What matters to me:
Are they a misogynist? Are they racist? Are they hateful? Are they classist? Are they kind? Are they empathic? Are they able to cook? Do they clean the dishes when they use them?
I'm guessing if they're getting their hygiene tips from the man-o-sphere about things like pheremones, etc.... they're likely also going to be all of the above (except the last one).
But that stank is distracting from those higher values.

I have never smelt a cologne that masked the misogyny in an imbecile, nor have I smelt a fart that made me take distance from a good person.
My ex once made me sleep on the couch because I ate an entire bag of wasabi peas that turned my farts into war crimes.
He was justified. They started halfway through and I kept eating them.
Midnight bedfarts are part of being married.
Nobody is innocent in war, though some people won't ever admit that they do it, once you're asleep I can promise something gonna sneak out the back when you're tired enough.
Now I'm imagining my little geneva convention breaking farts in spy costumes skulking out of my butt.
There's a difference between "I haven't showered today, but otherwise keep myself clean" and "I routinely neglect essential basic hygiene to the degree it can be considered mental illness."
I think some people are assuming you're talking about the later.
Consider yourself lucky then, ive smelled farts that made me leave work early and go home and shower immediately lmao

If they can't even wash their own ass they're definitely not empathetic or washing dishes.
Body odor does not necessarily have to do with washing your own ass, you can stink at the same day you took a shower... There's a difference in smell vs not washed though.

Start by applying an egg to a pan. Competence is built with practice.

Big pot, fill with chopped whatever the fuck you have in the fridge, add enough water to cover the whateverthefuck, add some salt (careful, can always add more later but you can't remove excess), and cook until it smells like food.
I can make a cheese omelette, and rice and peas. I can feed myself essentially, but not to a quality that I can share with others, or so I've been told

I'm a trained chef and recently moved into a place with a panini press. Oh my god how I love this thing. It's the ultimate tool for people who can't cook. You don't even need to do anything chef-like, just put ingredients between bread and press for four minutes. Done. It makes rivals to some of my favorite crazy-ass chef'd up meals.
Goat cheese, chicken, tomato spinach and pesto.
Just cheeses, whatever cheeses
Apple, watercress and brie, to impress.
Meatballs, sauce and mozza.
Grill a PB + J, it's a whole new level.
Hell, you can even make french toast with it.
That's fine, women aren't looking for a five star chef, they just need a guy who can cook once or twice a week when they're super busy.
Then you can cook.
And that about sharing with others.. I understand, however from experience, there's others who will enjoy the fact that you cooked for them, and there's others who will pick at the recipe.
I know what others i prefer.
I feel like a lot of those things go hand in hand with hygiene though. At least me i dont personally give a shit how i smell, but i shower every morning out respect for others. Someone who doesn't keep themselves clean isn't going to be keeping the kitchen and bathroom clean either.
Yes, it's a correlation, correct. And yeah every single crackhead bum is an infinitely better person than some corpo executive spending his life destroying the planet. But you also don't wanna date a hobo who's a really great guy.

I don't clean my dishes either. But that's because I have a dishwasher lol. Seriously, aren't dishwashers a thing in the US?
When we refer to doing the dishes, it typically means unloading and loading the dishwasher. Not every household has a dishwasher here though.
But also it's cleaning the knives, wood, and cast iron. (My house has been decreasing our use of plastic in the kitchen and while it's nice, it does result in some hand washing)
A lot of people in the US have really weird conceptions about dishwashers, for some reason. Technology Connections has a video where he goes over it and explains that dishwashers work fine and don't require pre-rinsing or whatever.
Dishwashers are a thing but it's just easier to handwash tbh. Once i rinse the dish and use a fork to clear any food debris to make it ready for the dishwaher, it takes like two more seconds to wipe it with a soapy sponge. I can just do the whole sink by hand in ten minutes, or spend five minutes loading and then wait an hour.
It's nice when im running late for work or something but 9/10 times i just hand wash.
