Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

Higher wages for underpaid workers.
Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
Better and fewer working hours.
Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

At this point, the federal government is divesting itself of its responsibilities to the states. The Trump regime is actively seeking to not provide services and support to those parts of the nation that didn’t vote for him, but in doing so is actually hitting red states (and red counties in blue states) harder than he is the blue ones.

A reversion to the historical mean. Prior to the post-Depression 20th century, the US Federal government has historically been weak and disconnected from state operations.

To claim we're not a state because Trump has gone 10% more Calvin Coolidge with it, you have to ignore the century and a half when Coolidge was the norm.

So, the US is behaving like a failing state. That’s not a strict boolean. The decline and fall of a nation a long, slow, non-linear process. We don’t know if it’ll devolve into civil war or toward the fracturing of the US into separate allied clusters of states. It’s up to the individual historian (say a century from now) to decide exactly at what point the US actually failed. Rome, for instance, fell across centuries.

I mean, we're not even out of the Roman Republican Era, as a point of comparison. I don't think it's fair to say Rome's fall began with Caeser given that it continued to expand and advance for the next 400 years.

Folks writing the eulogy for the US when we're just now really getting our hooks into Latin America and the Pacific Rim seem to have missed some historical milestones.
