Stopping the orphan crushing machine would abolish the orphan crushing industry. There's no precedent in American history.

Medicare for All would save a trillion dollars and 114,000 American lives, both annually. Fuck the insurance racket.

Insurance in general should be a public aervice rather than private enterprise and it should not be used for medical care at all.

The public service should provide a universal floor for citizens. There are quasi-medical services like massage that both have medical benefits and are also used more as a spa treatment, and people with pets are finding pet medical insurance more attractive these days. I think areas like that can make more sense to keep private.
