So if medicaid pays for the cancer treatment, someone in the medical industry would get paid. Surprised that the medical industry is not lobbying harder for that. What's the point of charging and bankrupting the average Joe, as if there's much money there?

You'd think keeping your citizens (your tax base) healthy would generate the most tax revenue?

Because the docs and execs at the hospital still get their big nut, the raises and bonuses and zero impact to their benefits or retirement.

It's everyone else at the hospital that feels the cuts; elimination of benefits, no raises, bonuses "suspended".

Source worked for nonprofit hospitals for 2 decades...
