Senator Lindsey Graham dedicated his life to serving the people of South Carolina and the United States.

Throughout his career, he stood resolutely in defence of democracy and freedom, most recently and particularly with Ukraine and its people.

I offer my condolences to Senator Graham’s family, friends, and all those who served alongside him.

I'll just reiterate what I said when Kamala Harris said it:

I understand that it would clearly be unwise politically to be seen celebrating someone's death... but I don't understand why politicians don't simply choose to say nothing more often. I highly doubt anyone on the fence is swayed by her message, or would notice its absence.

Meanwhile, celebrating his life is really off putting to a lot of people who would've voted for Kamala in the last election. How is this a good idea for her?

This seems even dumber.... nobody expects a Canadian politician to jump in here, and frankly, it's an even worse look.

He....very much did say nothing. Like that's the most generic ass "I told an intern to write a condolence" eulogy I've ever seen. That shit doesn't have one anecdote in it, even though the pacing of the text offers three, maybe even four places for personality.

This right here was some performative respect, and that's putting it nicely.
