Yeah, a secession for the less-insane states sounds pretty good. Tho the red (read: non-coastal) parts could fuck on off with Idaho and Nevada.

[–] realitista@lemmus.org 9 points 2 days ago (5 children)

This is totally unfair to Colorado. You can't leave us with these nutjobs.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Don't worry the California Imperium can annex you guys once we get done with the Mormons.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago)

Idaho racists first, they will absolutely need to be thoroughly taken care of. Mormons we can probably just build a wall to keep out.

[–] realitista@lemmus.org 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You'd better be true to your word. We will probably lose most of our democrat population to emigration before that happens.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Well worst case scenario it gets resettled.

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Oh, wow. Genius plan. If the flatlander states aren't completely toxic and ruined, they could be resettled as soon as the Cascadian and NewColonial state groups repair their economies enough to begin allowing new membership applications and setting up proper accessible care and prevention.

... and dirtbag richbitch reparation suits. They'll pay for proper healthcare and rebuilding now with their tax money, or in a courtroom later.

Well I was figuring that most of the great planes will probably depopulate due to trade collapse. Not necessarily due to ecological issues but s second dustbowl is always possible I suppose.

If there was some kind of secession crisis I feel like CO would be the most fucked state for sure. Surrounded on almost all sides. Although most of those states are low population so who knows what might happen...

Start exterminating Nazis and we’ll talk

[–] realitista@lemmus.org 1 points 1 day ago

While you guys just walk away? Thanks a lot.

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Make your own nation. Let's trade.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago

We need to get the native American leaders back to sort this nonsense out and reestablish some order and civilization.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

I agree! We need to find a way to join up. Maybe move enough Democrats into Nevada and Utah to form a bridge to California.

Honestly, if just enough Democrats moved into just the right amount of states, we would easily overpower the crazies and bring things back on track.

Although, you see movements like in Illinois where the vocal minority sitting on lots of land want to secede from Chicago. You know, where all the people are and where all the money comes from...

[–] Semi_Hemi_Demigod@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

There’s vast swaths of those less-insane states that are just as insane. Flyover PA, upstate NY, eastern Oregon and Washington, southern Illinois, and central California

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

Yeah, it's just a list of states sorted by population of the largest city

[–] Canajan@piefed.ca 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Nope, even in blue states there are more than enough Trump supporting Republicans, that are to blame for all of this.

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Right, which is why I addressed that in my comment.

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Those less insane States still voted for tump like 45%.
