This picture was originally was taken to emphasize the violence of antihomeless architecture in public spaces.
The ridiculous costumes emphasize what you would have to wear to be able to lay down comfortably which kind of does fit the enzyme metaphor.
Violence? Have you ever seen violence? You're delegitimizing what violence actually is.
The result of this kind of infrastructure is torture.
Imagine having to downgrade your bed from being a cold large stone slab because some rich people who also own the empty building across the street decided to spend money to stop you from doing so.
Physical and mental torture. Definitely violence.
Violence is more than just physical.
I have never seen a human body dismantled by physical violence in front of me, that does not mean I haven't seen absolutely brutal forms of violence.
Homelessness in the US is an act of mass violence against some of the most vulnerable people in society.
